My Ashley/Genuwine turnaround

No, it is not what it may at first look like.

I disliked them both for as long as they were together.

Draped over each other, showmance written all over them.

When I saw Ginuwine on BBBOTS, I really liked him for the first time. He was funny, kind and spoke his mind. I hadn't seen any of that before.

I noticed Ashley didn't do a histrionic Shane J act when G left, in fact she hardly noticed he had left by comparison.

Now, she is looking lovely, doing her all in the tasks, joining in with all he housemates and along with Jess makes both Ann and Amanda feel valued and interesting.

Then we have Whiney Wayne, Miserable Malika and Sobbing Shane acting as if their world has ended.

Well done Ashley and G. I wish that showmance had never happened and we got to see them both on their own all the time.

I think Ashley is lovely...if only she hadn't latched onto G. However unlike drama queen Shane...she shed her tears in the toilet in private and moved on.

Yeah I think apart there's a lot more to them both. I don't actually understand the showmance at all.

I actually think Ashley was clinging on to him but she didn't fancy him.

G was real lovely and warm on BOTS

He was always happy in the house, a mellow positive dude


Ashley seems nice in lots of ways but she ruins it when she does her self-righteous bit as it is so hypocritical -

When G joked 'tonight's the night' and pointed at her ladyzone, she never complained to him, instead she ran to the other women, scandalised G's name and called him upsetting and inappropriate. Ok but....

NEXT DAY - she joked 'who's got the biggest dick' when playing back-to-back questions with Dan and Jonny

So genital jokes are ok when she does it, but not ok for others.

Also:

She complained of Andrew's 'derogatory comments about fish/female genitalia'

BUT that night on BOTS her ex-flat mate (on the panel) said that her and Ashley used to joke about that all the time!
