No.
It's a bit like doing a prank pretending someone's a part of a terrorist attack.
You just don't do it. :worry:

I've heard of this story but I refuse to watch the video, I abhor 'prank' videos, they appeal to the lowest common denominator and they've created a culture where people go out and harass others for the sake of views and call it a prank. **** them all, wankstains.

Honestly I love seeing a good, funny public prank but this is not really a prank and definitely not funny in any way. It's not creative, it's dull, and he's getting random people wet who are just going about their regular day / might have something important to do so not cool.
Although this guy's content definitely seems staged fwiw. As are a large majority of youtuber 'pranksters' videos. Kinda makes it even worse though because he's giving people the impression that this is real and it's probably not.

Obviously not. Looked at a few of his other vids too, what a ****.

I'm 99.999% certain, based on the responses (and speed of response), that everyone he does it to is in on the prank (he probs pays randoms like £10 to do it). All of his videos seem staged. But no, it's still not funny, for various reasons. One is the "acid attack" element BUT even if he genuinely hadn't realised, or even if acid attacks weren't a thing... it still wouldn't be funny. Because throwing water on random people isn't very funny .

Weeell... if it WAS real then I suppose actually throwing water on people (and definitely, scaring people who might think it was a real acid attack) could be considered a form of assault, so maybe some sort of charge. But for what it actually is (i.e. fairly obvious that the "targets" are either friends of his or have been paid to take part) I don't see how it qualifies as law breaking. If stupidity was an imprisonable offense, there's be more people behind bars than out in the world :joker:.
...which might actually not be such a bad idea...

I don't know they are his friends. A police officer wouldn't have know. He seems to be on a public street. There are a myriad of things he could be held on, if only disturbing the peace. I hate this kind of stuff... it's right up there with the "clowns" that were terrorising people.

Well yes, I can see him being arrested at the time but there's a few things that make it likely that the people are in on it... e.g. the first guy who "chases" him is quite clearly not actually trying to catch him (he's not running at full speed to get him) and the guy at 1.25 reacts instantly to the water being thrown which means he knew it was coming, otherwise there would be a second of "wtf just happened" before reacting like that. Also if you look on his channel at things like the ones where he "plays rock paper scissors with random people and the loser has to flash" ... well let's just say the "random people" he's playing with aren't going to be winning any oscars :umm2:. They're like those porn videos where "random girls" get approached. "OMG get out teh bobs? Right here? Well... I don't know... well... OK if you insist tee hee..."
So yeah I can see them getting arrested for causing a disturbance (and especially for running about in the road, which is doubly stupid) but actually being charged with anything seems pretty unlikely. Like I said - if "being an annoying idiot" was illegal, there'd be more people in prison than out of it.
As for the killer clowns - the only good killer clown videos were the ones where people reacted by punching them square in the face. :hehe:.

They should also apply this law to "friendly" people beeping their horn at me to wave enthusiastically because I always ****ing jump out of my skin and could easily die :(. I seriously hate it. I have a co-worker who does it all the time :fist:. That's not what the horn is for!

LOL... yes! Excellent. Hope the same things happens to this moron.
I see what you're saying TS, but we can't have people running the streets throwing pretend acid at people, any more then we can have people running round pretending to shoot people.
I'm still smiling at the thought of a "killer clown" getting at fat lip.

The boy cockily laughed it off, and dared someone to show the media e rest of his vids considering this isnt even his worst. Somebody did, and his entire channel has been removed from Youtube.

The second video isn't working .
But from the first video ,I don't find it funny. I hate immature brainless "pranksters" where they scare or fool people into thinking something horrible has happened to them , obviously people will think they've been hit with acid and it's going to freak them TF out  !! .
Isn't it horrendous enough that these acid attacks ACTUALLY happen, and some arrogant twat thinks it's funny to joke about !.
There's too many of these YouTubers who think they're untouchable when they do these tasteless stupid acts  .
This YouTuber should be arrested for causing distress and harassing people ,his YouTube channel should be shut down .
Sam Pepper's channel should of been shut down years ago as well, vile person .

Exactly this.
Tbf I know that he is just meaning it as a joke that's to keep his Youtube channel going, but it is a very sensitive subject at the moment as it's a crime that's on the rise in this country, people are still scarred (no pun intended) by the fact that this can happen to people so he should be careful about staging prank videos on the subject.
These kinds of pranks have been around forever (yeah... really)... and no, they're not funny at all.

If you've got to do such a tasteless stupid "prank" for views and ad revenue then that person shouldn't be making YouTube videos in the first place  .
People like him are low life's who need their heads testing, this isn't normal .
YouTube is full of these brainless stunts that go to the extreme and they should be banned .

I swear the internet is becoming a place where stupid people will do anything for money! Those same people 20-30 years on will regret all they do online (pic's /video's) as once it's out there it's out there forever!
