Do you like Ann as a person?

I get her support as a housemate, she has been controversial at times, and hilarious at others. But as a person, she is vile. Just want to see where people stand.

I like her as a housemate & a person. She has some poor views but that doesn't define her.

As far as her actual PERSONALITY goes... I usually don't care for the 'miserable' types that scoff at people for having some fun but she doesn't force anything on anyone, she's always civil, she doesn't really yell at people etc. I just think she's pretty funny though and her give no sh!ts straight-forward attitude is one of the best I've seen of that sort. Plus she's an old lady that's not actually nasty to people yet gets a lot of backlash from both housemates and viewers. Deserved or not, naturally I feel sympathetic towards her.

EDIT: Oh I'm watching the last episode right now and I'm glad it basically showed the housemates viewing it that way as well. :clap1:

..I find her interesting but yeah, there are aspects of her that I like as a person as well in her character even though I’m completely opposed in my own thoughts to some things she supports...I love that she’s still ‘branching out’ as it were at this age in her life when she doesn’t need to, she could just live in her own little comfortable world and surrounded by her own little comfortable people and feel, oh I’ve done my bit for ‘the battle’ of such ‘battles we have in life..:laugh:...and never even consider such things as reality TV...but with Strictly and now BB, she’s made choices to expand herself into the unfamiliar and spend time with people who would be far from her own circle, I think...so yeah, I really like that about her...also...with the recent Ann V Shane J stuff of him wanting to address some things that are of great importance to him...how he did that, in the ‘trying to summon up and get on board’ of Wayne and other housemates..?...Ann has never done that, yes she’s straight and can be quite disapproving and has openly shown that in some situations...but she gets the respect that she has in the house from many other housemates, not because of her age in that she ‘demands’ because of age or because of old fashioned or religious views or whatever...they actually want her to feel they’re acting well, they actively appear to seek her ‘approval’..it makes them quite happy when her approval is obvious to them because they respect and because they like her...and I can understand why, because she has some very likeable aspects to her character...

I have to fall into no as a person.

There is too much about her,despite her saying who others are don't bother her,which smacks of insincerity.
Too much she would impose if she had the support to,would massively affect and infringe the rights of millions of people.

You cannot hide being saying you are tolerant while exercising intolerantce from your influence.

I've listened to her speak, Iisten yes,however I disagree with near all she stands for.

Not liking her however does not make her a bad person.
I just wish,as I wish more politicians were that seek influence and power to change things,that both professionally and personally, they were more willing to compromise.

Ann never really would sadly.

I like her as a housemate and a person, I have lots of friends whose views I don't agree with that doesn't mean I can't appreciate other aspects of their personality, I would be very surprised if there is one person on this site who has a friend or family member that they agree with everything on, doesn't mean you can't love them :shrug:

Excellent housemate.
I really like her as a person as well.
I don’t agree with all her political or religious views, but then I wouldn’t expect everyone to agree with mine.
If anything I have really warmed to her over the last few weeks, it’s been interesting to see a more personal view of her.

She’s a very complex individual. Shane L explained it best, she’s like a hard boiled egg. Hard on the outside but if you can crack it open there’s a lovely soft center
