He doesn't agree with her views, fair enough, most of us don't but she's not going to change them because Shane J says so why does he have to keep going on and on and on.

And why is he now bringing up her views on every subject going?

The only answer I can come up with is that it's an attempt to win. There's no other explanation.

I didn't know Shane J/Courtney before going into BB but from what I've seen since he's been in the house it seems like he may do alot of work for the LGBT community? Clearly Ann isn't interested in discussing her views however I can see how that's frustrating when she's constantly "disapproving" of things that Shane may view as being homophobic, I think both of them are at fault in some ways

I do wonder though how different things would have been if Andrew had never been a HM, I think house attitude towards Shane and Shanes attitude towards Ann might have been different

I mean that some people are made to feel bad about their sexuality by other people (people with views like Ann's)... things are a lot better than they used to be and personally I've been lucky and I've never really had any major issues and yes generally in society the door is pretty open, and laws etc etc (and Ann herself doesn't actually treat gay people negatively on a personal level to give her credit) but however much has changed there are still people who struggle and experience homophobia and those are the people who might be helped by watching Shane J tackle Ann's views and show the other side of things, and it's views like Ann's that perpetuate that homophobia.

I mean that some people are made to feel bad about their sexuality by other people (people with views like Ann's)... things are a lot better than they used to be and personally I've been lucky and I've never really had any major issues and yes generally in society the door is pretty open, and laws etc etc (and Ann herself doesn't actually treat gay people negatively on a personal level to give her credit) but however much has changed there are still people who struggle and experience homophobia and those are the people who might be helped by watching Shane J tackle Ann's views and show the other side of things, and it's views like Ann's that perpetuate that homophobia.

I doubt that ann has a fear of gay people, but what they do is just not her seen, she was brought up in a set of different values, and she has not once made shane feel uncomfortable about himself, i'm a straight guy, and to see two gay men kissing is just not my seen and what a gay couple do in there bedroom is none of my business, that's what every straight man views and feels about it, straight girls these days are not bothered if two gay men kiss or hold hands, but girls now have very different views from where ann's generation was from, but shane thinks that because ann is not keen on his lifestyle he thinks she's got a phobia of it, I think him trying to bait her on what she approves of has backfired on him badly and amanda and wayne clocked him on it,
