I liked his approach, I liked his quiet way of dealing with awkward conversations... he seemed like he might be a real voice of reason and bring people together, understand each other more... As for the question of what do people want from Ann - it's the same with hate mobs/professional offendees everywhere: i don't think there is a logical end point or 'goal' to speak of.

I think some people just get off on hating others. Simple as. Especially en masse.
