Just the same old, same old every day.

He seems like a decent person, I like how he interacts with people, he's fairly interesting, not the most amazing housemate ever lol but he's been good and there isn't really much about him to dislike.

Apart from looking good in drag.....his personality is a DRAG. All he does is preach and be judgemental...the very thing he slagging gathers Ann for.

I find him very interesting. He's very eloquent and tolerant, also very kind hearted and fun. He's very unique, we've never had someone like him on the show before. I also love it when his alter ego comes out : Courtney looks so glamorous, love her outfits :)

I liked him when he arrived and I still like him. I am a bit disappointed, though. At first he seemed to make so much sense. I liked his approach, I liked his quiet way of dealing with awkward conversations... he seemed like he might be a real voice of reason and bring people together, understand each other more... Then he went and spoiled it by trying to rally other people behind Ann's back. I still don't know what he wants from Ann, what he wants her to do, or to say. I've asked on this forum, what do people want from Ann? What does Shane want? All I got back was a litany of rudeness... so I'm guessing there is no answer to that currently.

i agree he is eloquent, but find him very intolerant and the exact opposite of kind hearted, being quite vindictive. I think he behaves like an attention seeking prick when he puts his fake persona on

I keep wondering what Shane J or his fans want or expect from Ann as well  . It's just never ending Ann bashing ,and Shane J was on a hate campaign that night and he never explained what he wanted . Unless he wanted Ann to be removed from the house  .
I'm not a fan of Shane J and I still wonder if he ever told Jess to her face that he thought her phobia was fake  or did I miss that ?. The guy is 2 faced and bitchy .

I liked him a lot to start with, thought he was gonna be fun and a breathe of fresh air. It all changed for me when he started hanging with the foul mouthed uncouth Mr Ego. Fair play he did say he didnt agree with a certain choice of words but seriously why would you want to keep hanging around a plank after that kind of behaviour :conf:
I still think he has a sense of fun though.

The way people have been rabid with Ann has probably made Ann fans hate him more tbh, I did like him to start with,I thought the skirt dropping was pathetic though, but I thought he was going to be someone who would have adult and interesting convos with Ann about her beliefs, but it seems he just wanted to use the ones he wanted to turn people against her as there was no need for him to keep repeating the same old thing,I also think his friendship with Andrew lost him some fans,I thought he would have been more intelligent to fall for his crap.

Yeah was just about to say, lots of people gave proper answers to that question.
But anyway as for you post Livia I agree with some of it, i did like him alot more at the start but even still I think he's probably a nice guy, I think the thing with Ann was a combination of disagreeing with her views, maybe blaming her for Andrew being evicted and not being used to people shutting him down when he wants to discuss issues

I agree with most..I did like him at first. Straight talking, fair and respectfully accepted Ann's opinions even though he didn't agree. Where did it change? It changed when he fell for Andrew..he fell for someone whose disrespect for woman was dispicable. Once Andrew left he turned on Ann for her beliefs...he turned on Ann because I believe he blamed her for Andrews demise..but it backfired. Now he has backtracked once again. Fake.
Shame really..if he had stuck with the respect and morals he showed at the beginning I would still like him...but he has flipped into so many characters I don't know which one is real anymore. Maybe his choice of friends says it all..

It was so transparent when Andrew left , he switched so quickly it was disturbing and boring to see . And his little confession about researching about Ann had stalker obsession vibes  .

Apparently there is also a K in the alphabet soup now. Standing for 'kink'
Its expanding constantly so it will soon encompass near every person on earth (rather like the stonewall definition of trans actually)
I would much prefer it to go back to LGB. Don't see what any of the others have to do with anything. Asexual is a sexuality of course, but who is going to be discriminated against for not feeling sexual attraction?

SO true.
I love your posts btw
As for the question of what do people want from Ann - it's the same with hate mobs/professional offendees everywhere: i don't think there is a logical end point or 'goal' to speak of.
I think some people just get off on hating others. Simple as. Especially en masse.
Same mentality as the BB eviction crowd (and sometimes BOTS audience) who love to shout and boo, often more than they like to cheer (this series has been a strange exception though)
That online hate-mob mentality: It's the modern day equivalent of the old days of public executions when people took the whole family along, to jeer and throw fruit etc - like some kind of twisted entertainment.
I swear some people don't even want solutions, they seem to prefer having the problem.
I've been on here before talking about ways to help stop racism, to see beyond it, quoting Morgan Freeman, Salman Rushdie etc and just like you asking your question: some people just rudely mock positive posts or reject them outright.
Like they prefer their own narrow 'black and white' narrative of victim/oppressor rather than see shades of grey and the wider picture.

I don't like him because he smells of plastic whatever he does. Something a bit false about his behavior.
Self righteous, his deep conversations always feel like a bit of "listen to my fabulous PC opinion! ain't I something..." lectures and not a real fluent interactions. In the end of the day he's a guy in a costume whose so-called high standards and fearless LGBT campaign were summed up in his decision to expose his ass and mangina in front of millions on live TV.
It almost feels like I should be wagging my tail and ask for more every time he expresses the right things about LGBT, but it does nothing to me.

He's amazing. So refreshing to see a housemate like him, he's very unique and I could listen to him talking all day. He's able to actually have a conversation, debate or discussion with anyone without holding personal grudges or being rude and forcing his viewpoints on others. He has depth, dignity and charisma. He's just a lovely person whilst being interesting and entertaining. He's honest and loyal.
What is there not to like?

 Yeah i know what you mean
All that virtue-signalling.
His speeches are cringe. They tick the box of every cliche going. Reeled off like some government-issue diversity pamphlet.
And after appointing himself as some kind of 'voice for gender issues', he then transforms into.... a total stereotype of a tarty woman !
I wonder if he has any other 'stereotypical identities' inside himself to explore?
Maybe an incontinent old lady called Gladys, bent over with a zimmer frame, horn-rimmed specs and an ear trumpet?
Or maybe a frenchman on a bicycle with a beret and a string of onions?
Considering the style of Courtney, I mean, why not?
