View Full Version : Anyone else unhappy at the new 10pm start

.. unhappy at the new 10pm slot for the show? Whilst it doesn't effect me personally as I'm up past midnight most nights, my family are usually in bed by 10-10:30pm and so will miss most if not all of the highlight shows. Since I don't have sky plus and my dvd recorder is on the blink I see no way in which I can administer their daily dose.
The more descriptive your thread title the more poster you will get posting - thread title edited

10pm is ideal for me as I have said, it's certainly not a problem. It's just cool when you can mention it to your family and them know what the feck your on about lol.

10pm is a much better slot. Only kids think it's late...

I rather the 10pm slot.
It means you don't get KIDS making pointless threads about what just happened.

Older members tend to flick through the threads to see if what they want to say...has already been said...younger members just blab on. [in a genralisation]

Yeah, i didn't mean any offence by that comment, and i'm not talking about everyone, but like Ryceratops! said, most seem to just say the first thing that pop's in their head.

I've been a member for 2 years...and members have come and gone...the older generation are somewhat outweighed by the younger models.
But I pay more attention to members who I trust more.

I was generalising...and it is general concensus...most of the older posters don't post in BB anymore.

I think a lot of them got bored of all the eyes and have been posting other parts of the site. I was rather tedious after a while seeing them all over the place in so many different threads. It would have been alright if they had there own thread and that was that.

I have nothing against younger people, but alot of them do post some utter crap
I'm not surprised it caused a few people to leave the BB section...

I guess that's just how "the cookie crumbles" *Adam.
Younger members are always welcome on the TIBB forum.
There was no sign-post saying:-
"Younger members not welcome"
I certainly didn't see it and as it is not there and doesn't exist then I am afraid that many younger members will just start topics that they feel interesting. If it is criticised as being pointless then just don't post within them.
Simple answer really:thumbs:

tornado, go to the control panel, then edit profile, then add the image you want in the Signature section. Make sure you put the image URL in tags...
And as i said above, i have nothing against younger posters/members, but they do post crap sometimes....fact!

I'd rather the 10pm slot too guys, but what about people who have work the next day, it's not just the kiddies who this will affect. My mum for example works from 6am to 3pm so she can't stay up past 10:30 on most nights.:conf:

How do you know its back to its 10pm slot???.
I prefer 9pm really as 10pm is rather late considering its on for an hour and people have school/college/work the next day and have to be up early. I hope they stay at the 9pm slot instead.

We have always had younger members and they as welcome as anyone else on the site.
What we all have to remember to do is try not to start loads of threads about the same topics.
It's like a library if all the books are in the wrong places you can't find anything and you give up looking.

You had a picture of yourself in the sig the other day, and if my eyes are correct, you look under 16.
About the topic though, it was 10pm year for years, only last series changed. Nothing has been confirmed, people have seen a couple of eps in for 10pm- i think we better wait and see.
Its too late for me, 9pm is my perfect slot. Ill have to sky plus each one and watch them after school.

I'm personally not bothered about the time change.
But it does mean I won’t be able to watch it in the living room seeing as the news is on at the same time and my mum has to watch it.
So it'll be watching it in my bedroom most nights.
Also I would like to think categorized as a kid who posts nonsense!

excuse you, i find that remark to be unfair, i am 16,so i suppose you would call that a "kid" but i am mature, intelligent and perceptive as anyone else on here. i never make an uneccesary threador post pointless comments- so i thanks you not to judge some of us under "kids" under the one label just because some of the others are a bit immature etc. thank you.

Like I said before lets talk about the start time and not the age of members or we will have to close the thread.

Exactly right, I'm only 13 (nearly 14) But i havent spoke in text speak, argued or done nothing like that on this forum, you can't keep stereotyping.
