6 episodes down and its really compelling and gripping, i just want to keep watching more to see how the story unfolds.
Definitely worth the watch, most episodes are 1hr long so yeah take that into account if you want to binge watch it.

Watched the first episode and it was quite good, but there was massive issues with audio for me? I’m not sure if it’s my tv cause I’ve never had this problem before but I could barely make out what they were saying half the time even with the volume really loud, it’s like some did a really crap mixing job??

Basically it's like it's optimised for a cinema rather than a home set up... The audio for voices is quiet compared to SFX so you either have to play the audio obnoxiously loud and upset your neighbours when the guns and explosions start, or constantly turn the sound up and down between dialogue scenes and action scenes.

IMO if you're watching alone, your best option is to invest in a decent 5.1 headset, which should eliminate both problems. If you're watching with someone else then your options are limited... You can try bumping up any "clear voice" type settings on your TV / sound system if they have them but that doesn't always help that much.

I've seen quite a few people complaining about this with Altered Carbon and a few other "action heavy" Netflix shows. It's like they think everyone is watching on a surround sound home theatre system with the volume up, basically.

I enjoyed it but a couple of episodes were definitely bordering on filler, I like they they’ve left it open for a possible second series, but a think it just being a one off would be nicer. Also the killer reveal was a tad underwhelming imo

I'm gathering that it's one of those shows that's trying to go for alot of different plot strands and connect them together at the end? If so they can get a bit ****ed up if not handled properly.

I will definitely check this show out though as it sounds like something I'd like.

I've watched the first couple of episodes and I have quite enjoyed it so far, I even like the Drama that they've got in there as it's actually relevant to the main story of the programme which a lot of modern shows are tending to forget .

However I can see the show being marmite as it's not gonna be to everybody's taste, I do like the fact though that we've got a Sci-Fi show around that's a bit different to what America's usually throwing out in the genre, and that it doesn't have Soapy elements in there (for now) overall for me I give it a thumbs up so far.
