That wasn't the case with Andrew and Shane/Courtney though. They were simply good friends and had a cute bromance. Shane wasn't afraid to tell Andrew when he thought he did something wrong (when he said "nobody deserves to be called a **** or a bitch" when Andrew was wanting about Ann).

The shame really is that people can't just enjoy 2 people getting along/having fun together be it friendship or other..

People accepted amanda and ann being friends so no real difference other than behaviour but the 2 pairs are 2 different generations so you can't expect people in 20s/30s to behave like people in their 60s/70s/80s nor vice versa..
