YAS it's that time of year again babes :cheer2: who's ready for another four weeks of endless (and often baseless) rumours and speculation about everyone's favourite reality TV show?! I know last year's ended up being a complete waste of time (especially mine) but hey, it was FUN so let's do it again

In my quest to find ANY kind of rumour, baseless or not, here's where we're at so far! Spoiler: not very far at all (which I find surprising).

Two weeks ago, some ~random on Reddit posted this:

This is going to be a season all about the superfans since the fans brought the show back. Since Ika did so well as a pre-jury last season, 4 pre-jury superfans will be returning. Aneal - BBCAN1 Kenny- BBCAN2 Naeha - BBCAN3 Paige - BBCAN4 It's unclear if they will be competing for one spot to return or if all four will be returning. I hope its NAEHA AKA SLAY-HA!

Unfortunately, this isn't the one that got the internationals twist right for BB4 (I'm hoping she will reactivate), but instead the one that kept posting pixelated images of people like Tahan getting everyone me hyped for some kind of International All Stars that never happened. okay so on the BMX stream they're taking the Global feed, so when CBB went to commercials they played a trailer for BBCan

It had a clip of Gary's slop meltdown, and the narrator asked us to pick one of three options. Then Arisa appeared saying 'the choices you make have consequences' or something, with what I can only describe as heavenly-esque music in the background

Yeah, and with the 'every move has a consequence' thing it could fit quite nicely.

I could actually see there being a feature where game moves are rated by the public and if they liked them then the HG is rewarded with a stay in heaven (eligibility to win HOH, able to be selected for POV?) and if they didn't they are sent to hell (eligible to be nominated, on slop, can't be picked for POV unless nommed).

I'm calling BS on this apparent spoiler account... This is too much, too soon considering the HG's won't even be in sequester until after the 24th... Never mind the grammar... These "spoilers" have fan fiction written by a obsessed, attention starved fan in their mother's basement all over it...

Also Heaven and Hell doesn't seem to be fitting with the theme they've been using in the promos so far... It would be a pretty drastic shift in theming to suddenly switch from a governmental/spy agency theme to heaven and hell...

Really do hope it's all newbies - BBCan needs to look forward, not back, and you need all newbie seasons to get your All Stars of the future. Never been a fan of BBUSA seasons with just a few veterans in for the sake of it.

BBCan5 was pretty decent but not convinced the All Stars played much of a part in that - yes, Ika was great but a newbie with just as strong a character could have been cast too.

The 5 firstboots with 10 or 11 newbies imo would be a really good season. All of the newbies made rookie mistakes, or need chance to get redemption (I mean Risha was evicted by public vote so she could have stayed) and I think they'd all improve. In fact I don't think any would be a firstboot again (and if they are I'd a) feel terrible for them but b) think they should realise they aren't cut out for the game).

TV shows inevitably are going to drop in ratings as they go on, hence why there's such a ridiculous turnover of TV series these days. You can't really correlate statistics with how good the quality of a season is. BB6 is considered an iconic series by many fans of the show, you just have to look at any Big Brother forum to see that.

Also, for what it's worth, stating somebody's opinion is wrong is rude. If you want to get statistical and matter of fact about it, just check out the BB threads and popularity polls on here and you can see that BB6 has always been popular:

Your argument is really irrelevant... BB wasn't even a long term series at this time... It was still in the very early stages of the show at this point with BB6 only being the 5th series to use the American format... Series 6 shed over 1 million viewers from the previous series... That shouldn't be considered something "normal" or expected... The following series saw an INCREASE... The next series that scored lower ratings than BB6 was BB9... Lol what? "It got the most votes but all the other series have the more votes combined" just isn't an argument. BB6 had a huge impact on the series, hence why they dominated the all stars picks. They've been referenced in future seasons and heaps of cast members in their bios to this day still mention Janelle, Howie or Kaysar.
