Nomination punishments

What sort of punishments do you think there should be if a housemate/s discuss nominations? would you like to see the whole group go up or just that person/s and then nominations go ahead as normal? also maybe they could do what they did in BB6 and show the other housemates on the screen, obviously thats only if their plotting though.

Yes I suppose it is, but I normally find that the good characters don't discuss nominations. It's normally the manipulative and scheming ones in it for personal gain, high on the pecking order, and people who aren't normally popular who discuss nominations.

E.g Remember Jane last year. She got on my tits, and every time she'd discuss nominations, she would get everyone else into trouble hence making her unpopular. So they should just evict them anyway and get the upset out of the way.

If a housemate discusses nominations Big Brother should not call them to the diary room and tell them etc. What I think should happen is when they sit down in the diary to make their nominations Big Borhter should show it to the housemates in the lounge on the plasma screen without them knowing. That would be awesome!

I don't think so. They've showed the conversation before like with Derek but never the actual nomination in the diary room.

You ARE right. I was thinking about them showing the punishment not the actual nomination. Yeah they should definately show the nomination! Maybe they should tell the other housemates not to say anything to them and then it would probably cause difficult feelings of uncomfort in the house and maybe leading to arguments! What do you think?

It is similar but a lot harsher because the housemates can say things 10 times worse when making the nomination in the diary room.

I think big brother should mix things up a bit - Make a secret mission for someone to get a certain amount of people/certain people to discuss nominations :P Would be fun to watch.

Yeah. They had them in BB5 and 6 but then they stopped them in BB7. I don't know why, they really spiced things up and remember Makosi would always get them caught! Yeah I think they should defo bring them back!

Automaticly put them up for nomination, adding them to the others up for the vote! Or if they were up for the vote already, make them pick someone else in the diary room to go up for eviction, with the housemates watching in the living room!

The intertesting thing is if they make the punishment to hard then the housemates won't do it and the producers know we all like to talk about the house mates that talk about nominations. So they want it to happen to some degree for the good of the discussion about the show but they don't want ruin the voting. It's all about getting the balance right. The name and shame system they use seems to do that.

Whoever talks about nominations should be up for the public vote immediately and also Big Brother should show footage of them talking about it on the plasma screen to all the other housemates.
