‘Prison is a very strange thing,’ he said. ‘You develop acquaintances more than friends … The prison food is shocking. We send out for meals like fish and chips every weekend.

‘I am a painter, I play chess, I play scrabble, do crosswords. I used to be a good chess player but I keep getting all these headaches.

he is also apparently as woman now

Maybe turning into a woman has given him empathy, or something

He should rot in jail tbh. Regardless of how he 'feels' about stuff

“The canteen sells eye shadow and foundation so, if he wants to look more like a woman, he can.”

Inmates at the men's prison can order from a list of cosmetics ranging from pink lipgloss to foundation and eyeliner on a list of '12 *luxury feminine items'

what prison is this :laugh2:

He deserves to stay locked up !! , it was horrific what he did to those poor girls who TRUSTED & knew him and he abused it .

Even if he really is feeling remorse it doesn't excuse what he's done . And he's not meant to like being in prison it's a Justice punishment for a reason.

I'm sure he's very sorry he's in jail. Unfortunatly for him, that's where he belongs. Remorse should have come before the point he killed one little girl, let alone two.

He's about as much of a woman as Christopher Biggins is when he's playing the Window Twanky.

I feel like this was the first faltering step of him trying to alter our perception and push for parole. And judging by this thread it's been treated with the contempt it deserves. But you know, someone, somewhere is already worrying about his welfare.

..I wish the media didn’t report../..give a voice to things like this...these ‘leaks’ that have been discovered but could have just been left there, unreported and given voice to...I’m sure Holly and Jessica’s family won’t feel focused or moved by any ‘heartbreak’ he may feel ...I’m sure their focus will feel more that he has the priveledge of feeling anything at all, while he brutally caused for Holly and Jessica to not exist anymore, to be able to feel anything in a life that should have been for them both...he paints, he plays chess, he plays scrabble, does crosswords..is I imagine, all their families will feel in their emotions...and all their pain will be focused on in these stories given media attention...he has the priveledge of existence and feeling anything at all, that he denied their beautiful children...

The problem is now, people are making programs on crimes, killers and even start to finish murders.

The problem is now, people are making programs on crimes, killers and even start to finish murders.Indeed. Giving it thought, I think these documentaries and articles should be limited to historic crimes as much as possible, to limit the likelihood that families of victims are still affected. E.g. Documentaries about historic killers like Jack the Ripper / Sweeney Todd etc. are fine now, and documentaries about currently jailed killers will probably be fine in 50+ years time, but making entertainment shows about current cases or recent murders seems really off when you think of the actual families. And I say that as someone who really enjoyed "making a murderer"... But if it was one of my kids who was the victim? Probably wouldn't be so keen on it.

Every book bar 3 in the whole of Amazon is a murder thriller

..yeah I have to say, I ‘bought’ into the Making of a Murderer’ as well and became completely absorbed until I thought about all of the aspects, after the fact...awful for the family of that poor lady ....

I remember a few years ago we started watching the TV show adaptation of "Sleepy Hollow". The first episode seemed like an interesting time travel show, the second got a bit humdrum... Then by the end of the third we were like "Ey! Wtf?? This is a detective procedural in disguise!!".

It was literally like "Ooooh guy from the past brought to modern times... There's also a Scary headless guy... Oh he's a fish out of water in his fancy old clothes... Wait... What will he do now? SOLVE CRIME that's what, derr derr deeeerrrrrr CSI: Sleepy Hollow."

So boring :(

If he couldn't show remorse for those girls when he was hurting them,he is not remorseful now, he is faking this,it's as Livia said he is trying to curry favour with the parole board, but if he gets the same one that Jon Venables got he will be in with a chance !!!!
