I'd say more because there's enough to take in on launch so I'd say 11 at the most!

I Think 14 Like sunshine said is a perfect number of housemates for the launch.

14 is far too much, I'd say about 9 or 10 and then add more at a later date.

keep things as they are for me it's just right, as for adding in new housemates throughout the series hopefully it's not too many people, two or three at the most would be fine.

same, less it will seem empty, more it will be a bit over the top, plus more means more names to remember
More please, at least 15.

Somtimes less is more
12, or even 10 housemates. With a few newbies all joining in within 3-4 weeks.

id like 15 housemates on launch night i hope they dont bring in 5 extra annoying housemates in halfway through agian this year
I'd like about 12 housemates. And I really don't want a load of new ones brought in halfway through the series in some ridiculous, 'they're being evicted, oh no they're not' twist. Preferably stick to the housemates who enter on launch night; with new ones brought in only if someone walks or is chucked out.

The number of housemates at start I think should equal the number of weeks the series runs for. Also I don't think any genuine evictions should take place for the first two weeks.
A week is not long enough for the public to really decide who they like or not.......I would love to see a fake eviction in the first week the evictyed one joining future housemates in the secret room.
But for once in the life of BB they need to have a secret room that the housemates can scream and shout without fear of being discovered by the main housemates.....

Yeah, I agree! We always loose great characters in the first week!

Well, it was great in BB6 but last year I agree there were too many newcomers and there were never any clear stages with the housemates getting less and less. I like it when the house gets emptier!

Really ? I have to disagree, ok last year 6 housemates during the final week, it's was too much, but 5 at least, it's great ! And 14 housemates during the launch night, it's a good choice !
