Probably around 1993 when we got it at work. I had a 9" Apple Mac and dialed up on it at home. At Capital we had one of the early websites and i had to go round Ad Agencies to sell them the idea - naturally half of them told me it would not catch on...

Me and a mate sneaking on early in the mo9rning to look up Megadrive cheat codes, probably around 1995 :joker:. We had to sneak on because not only was it dial-up, but it was charged by the minute at local rate :joker:. The real internetting didn't start until around '99 / 2000 when we finally got "all you can eat" dial-up so could go on for more than 15 minutes at a time, heh. Though I'm sure it was only free at off peak times, so after 6pm on weekdays and then all weekend. I remember waiting impatiently until 6pm to log in... then my mum complaining all night about me tying up the phone line. We eventually got a second phone line put in...

didn't get a connection at home until 2005, my first experience was using the (one) computer at my primary school in, like, 2000, to look at the CITV website :skull:

There was another makeover game that wasn't Eastenders, think it just used random celebrities like Paris Hilton. Can't remember what it was called (and also totally didn't use it since it would've been, like, 2006, when I was sixteen...)

around 1994' I think my husband and I were among the first people on the worldwide web lol. We used netmeeting on dial up back then, dial up was horrendous at times and I will never forget the noise it used to make haha. I met a couple from Canada on netmeeting and I met a friend from Carnation, Washington and we still chat regularly to this day, we've even been invited to go stay with the couple in Canada.

The first thing I remember doing online was using the Yahooligans website in like 2003. I didn't get internet at home until 2005 I think, we got super fast 1mb broadband and then it got upgraded to 2mb for free so we could test it. :amazed:

I loved the EastEnders dress-up game, my brother and I would walk around the house quoting Dot's classics "Ooh, I say!" "Makes me feel like a woman again!"

I played Club Penguin a lot. :joker:

I went on Bebo all the time, I loved making "Skinz" for people and getting paid with the little hearts they could post on your profile.

I can remember the first youtube video I watched, it was a very obese man next to a lake dancing to a Shakira song.
