The thing is Paras and Will were willing to hand it to him. He could have given them safety and gone after the other 4 or could have done Maddy/Ali as they were first 2 down, that way he could build trust with Paras and Will as well. He justs look sketchy to them now.

Yes an easy week 1 hoh, no blood on your hands, you build trust with 2 people who seem good at comps (Paras and Will), you dont seem like too much of threat to the other side as they think you was handed the win and like said you nominated Maddy and Ali and say it is based on the fact they feel first and not personal.

I actually don't have much so say about the first episode but:

- Rozina's consistent squawking :love:
- Johnny is gonna be a gamebot, I called it already
- The men are making me thirsty
- I actually don't care which girl out of Kritsen/Veronica goes in just as long as Mikey stays the **** away from there!
- Andrew... is still okay. Does it suck that he put so many stars (mainly girls) on the block? Yes. Does it change the fact he's still a super likeable personality? To me, no. He's playing the game and made a game move that he thought would benefit him. If I were him I probably would've kept all the dudebros too because going by previous big brothers, bros look after bros. It makes sense, it sucks, but it's a game.

Seems like a promising cast overall (even if there are a few too many showmancers/posers). Favourites based on first impressions are...

Great launch overall, I liked the twist (even if Andrew did make awful choices) it made the HoH comp much more interesting. Thought Johnny refusing the deal was odd :/ although I suppose there was more riding on it than there usually would be for a first HoH and maybe he felt he needed the win as well as not limiting his choices for who to nominate (he looked like he knew he was going to win it).

I love the whole campy production of everything :laugh: The OTT dramatics in the intro were a scream <3

Like BBCAN's twist this year was that they were selling (or giving out) limited edition tickets/applications to enter a draw that was taking place on the live eviction show to get into the BBCAN house. So therefore they had to bring their bags and everything to the live show in preparation for possibly getting picked to be on the show.

I think it's believable tbh. People would be skeptical no matter what tbh but their version of the story was way more sketchy than it could have been. :joker:

The first eviction is always like this tbh, the first boot on BBCAN gets like 1 minute of screentime at most

The first week of BBCAN always feel rushed because they cram the nominations ceremony, POV, eviction and a twist all in one episode and you only ever know the first evictee for about an hour, which isn't that much time at all.

I didn't really care for the HOH. To me its kind of a cheap kind of bullying. Who wants to hear that people think no one will go to your funeral??

I think the smarter people in that HOH were the ones who didn't anwser.

So far I agree that there is no stand outs. I know with such a large cast you can't really give each one lots of airtime but I feel like there are still so many people I dont know. For anyone only watching the show not the feeds, its like so so much was just not explained at all. For a come back season its not doing much for me yet.

That's exactly what I thought, which for the game is the exact opposite of what you want. There's already enough impetus in this format to go for what the house wants.

Canadian casts are normally a bit bland anyway, that's why having Tim before was so good as he could liven them up.

There's some bad gameplay but that's not unusual either in this. The one who was celebrating being thought stupid and easily manipulated was funny, but I don't think she follows the implications. If someone thinks you can be easily manipulated that could make you a danger to them.
