Sorry about this but I just had to vent my anger. :mad:
So I'm in the Iceland shop. Woman in front of me has 3 £1 dinners she wants home delivered. She was about 50 years old. Looked strong as an ox, yet she wants them delivered. Madness. Turns out she doesn't have an Iceland shopping account. Her credit card isn't working. All this time I am looking at the other queues going down...Probably around 20 people+ being served.
Loads of people being served except me and a woman behind me.
Absolutely ridiculous some people in shops. Messing about with a home delivery when she could have put those 3 dinners in a bag and walked home with them. I waited there 12 minutes. Couldn't hide the anger on my face.
Very annoying.:fist::fist::fist:
Took me a while to calm down.:joker::joker:

maybe she wasn't going straight home and didn't want to take them where ever else she was going/would have no fridge to store them in

Good point Niamh. I would have been annoyed too but would have joined another of the faster-moving queues as A.J. said.

Some people in Shops can be so inconsiderate.
I personally hate customers that chat with the workers for over an hour and you're standing right behind them waiting to be served.:bored:

i've no idea why anyone shops at iceland, my experience has always been poor and their "own" produce might be cheap but its really low quality

Its the women who are the worst at checkouts. They say how much is that THEN they go to their massive handbags and start raking around for cards
get the fckg card out while the goods are being scanned you dozy old bag

The first time I went to London there was an Iceland near us and I was so excited to go in because I always saw the ads for it before I'm A Celeb. I thought it was going to be top quality but it was just a big room full of freezers and a check-out with a stack of bottles of fizzy drinks in front of it. :sad: It was an extreme disappointment for 17 year old me.

ACTUALLY Iceland food is great value.. you often get more food for your money than you would at lidl aldi asda.. which ALSO includes Greggs sausage rolls which I must say are yummy!
It all depends what you buy and what you enjoy! just because it is cheap does not mean it is bad quality just as just as it's expensive doesn't mean it tastes better!
I was a devoted Asda shopper but found over time certain products changed and not for the better.. but asda beans n sausage (smartprice) are far better than asda's never level up version of same item..
I guess many factors can make the shopping experience better/worse.. eg has it snowed for a week and everything is out of stock that you may order.. are the staff nice if you shop in store (I always found shopping in-store busy and overwhelming and never enough tills open) but shopping online at iceland drivers really nice and always polite :)

if this is not annoying - you then have to go through the norm - have you got a Iceland card ? how do you want to pay ? would you like cash back ? I have forgotton my pin - its on my phone let me just get that. phone drops and smashes. security security - its where self service tills working even if done by yourself comes in handy ? but will Iceland cotton on ? lidle have ? why not Iceland ? maybe its to cold for the tills :joker:
