It appears the Gossip singer has jumped on the Lily Allen vs Cheryl Cole debate.

By the sounds of things, Beth is making no secret of her support for Ms Allen.

"******* Girls Aloud. I'd rather be a fat chick with a d***, than an a*****e," the Daily Mirror reports her as saying at the Radio 1 Big Weekend in Preston.

"It's hard to feel good when magazines say you're ugly, so I know how Lily feels."

I like Girls Aloud, as their songs are great and catchy.

They have done well, but it is all about personal preference. Never listen much to Lily Allen.

Her song, "Smile" was very catchy, but the video which went with it, is appauling:mad: Maybe someone will try it on her one day and see how funny it is.

It's not that I do't agree it that I'm right. She has got a lot of work to do on her 2nd album. Look at Mike skinner. Great first album, overrated 2nd album, sh*ite third album. Are you so certain that Lily Allens 3rd album is going to be any good. At least Girls Aloud deliver quality catchy tunes years afeter year. Plus, all this writing your own stuff busness is overrated. The music industry will always have people like Diane Waren and Gregg Aalexander. Artists, and in particular, fledgling artists who write their own stuff are just way too righteous about it. Take Noel Gallagher, I've heard him say that he thought he'd still be writing albums like definitely maybe for 15 year, but he admits that he may be past his peak. Lily cant sing, she needs to shut up about writing her own stuff cos we'll see on her fifth album how good a song writer she is. She's overrated.

Although I agree that the 3rd album was mainly shite (not totally), I disagree that the second album was overrated. In my opinion it is the best they have done so far.

I think the Beatles gave us a band who wrote and performed and were amazing at both. lily Allen has got a lot to prove. That's why I criticise her. She's not Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Neil Young...I could go on. She's not a music pioneers so I think she should stick to the music and leave all this squabbling to lesser talent. Its nothing to do with the fact they write/dont write songs. Its the fact that Cheryl Tweedy thinks her band is the bees knees, and I think shes forgetting, the reason shes bigger than Lily is that they have been around longer and GA were put together on a reality show, which got them noticed. (TBH, I dont know how either of them won that thing, they were terrible IMO). And the fact that Cheryl Tweedy is resorting to making personal comments just proves how much of a biatch that she is
