Same - religion has a lot to answer for and i want nothing to do with it. I was baptised when i was 7 not to embarrassing with all those babies , they gave me a book on Jesus which i ripped up, i am ashamed of that as i am the bible i was presented with on 1st day of senior school , which i ripped up on the last day.
Not ashamed of doing either but i hate books being defaced or ruined.

Like I believe there is something big out there like a god but I don’t believe we have to follow a bible or have to believe in going to church every Sunday.

There should be more options in this poll instead of yes/no. I’ve been raised by a casual Catholic family, who goes to church every Sunday, prays before meals. I still practice that today, though I oppose to some stuff regarding the Catholic faith...

My sister in law is religious from a strongly catholic family.
When she was struggling with her cancer she would cry that it was punishment from God for having a child out of wedlock, frightened she wouldn't be allowed through the pearly gates.
The mental anguish this caused her was something to behold.
Her God came and took her at 7 mins past 3 this afternoon.
