I don't actually think I'd care that much if the voice was axed this year it gets so boring and repetive. It's worse that they always cut down the live shows (we used to get around 10 and now we have 2) when they're one of the best bits.

And I hate that they always cut so many singers in each round - like don't have that many go through if you have to cut so many. Imo it would work much much better if the coaches built teams of 8 (and that way it makes the auditions section much smaller and not 3/4 of the whole series). Then you go to the battles where the teams are cut to 4 but give the coaches 2 steals again so they have 6 on their team (which makes it less of a harsh cull of acts). In the knockouts cut teams from 6 to 4 and then have Live Shows on a Saturday and Sunday with 2 acts cut each night.

X Factor needs axing too or a break but yeah i agree, The Voice is only good during the blind auditions and then gets boring and i don’t know why anyone applies for it since chance of success is really low, Becky Hill had the most success but it’s rare for it to happen. Leah McFall had some chart success during the show but didn’t do well post-show </3

Oh and finally Lauren was ruined when Olly made her sing Ain't no Mountain High Enough despite her much suiting other genres. The X Factor is so much better in terms of song choices imo, they always pick something that not only suits the act but is current and good enough to fit in the charts. And even on the time period weeks the acts reinvent the songs to fit out modern radio.

The Voice set their acts up for failure by digging up older songs that people don't really listen to anymore and then manage the winner terribly so they achieve next to nothing in a career that could be great and life changing. Acts with bags of potential (Lydia Lucy, Leah McFall to name a few, despite not winners) have just disappeared because the shows aftercare is a disaster.

You look at TXF and yeah they may be slated for not making global superstars (bar the obvious One Direction and Little Mix) they still have managed acts fairly well and they've had some success. Unfortunately the market doesn't need anymore normal people from a small town in England who won a talent contest but a lot have given it a good shot. Louisa Johnson is doing okay albeit slowly but it's understandable for her age as she needs to find her sound and place in the market, Matt Terry had moderate success and keeps up appearances every now and then but isn't a Household name, James Arthur is one of the bigger names to come from the show, this list can continue.

I have just re watched The Voice as we had visitors last night so couldn't watch it properly,I liked Ruti a well deserved winner but that performance from Jennifer Laurence and the opera duo was quite something,beautiful and stunning.I thought Lauren was really good too until she sang 'aint no mountain'
