Ok I just watched the first episode and it was nothing special at all :worry: Felt kinda "meh" but not that bad at the same time so I think I might still give it a chance for a few more episodes at least.

the first 3 eps imo are kinda pointless but it does really pick up. To me its one of those shows that might not have the best storylines but the characters are really compelling and their relationships will keep you hooked. I also enjoyed the dynamic of young people growing up in a 'hood' environment.

don't get me wrong i liked her. Part of me wishes they had just recast her but i enjoy ruby so much more when he's not constantly fawning over sis. Her demise was needed for ruby's character to evolve. Had they both survived i imagine his character would've just stayed stagnant.

you have to expect cheesiness with most teen shows tbh, a lot of times thats the appeal of them to me.
