Just got tickets for the gig in Manchester :amazed:Be careful and vigilant.

My sister and niece went to a gig in Manchester last year and they were lucky not to be blown to Kingdom come.

They have said to allow extra time and no bags. Will be fine.

Manchester is my home town and I refuse to be bothered by terrorists.....plus I've waited years to see the Arctic Monkeys :laugh:

Glad you sister and niece were ok though - must have been an absolute awful experience for them and you. :love:

I've seen a lot of people disappointed with this, saying it sounds like just another Last Shadow Puppets album

It's nothing like Last Shadow Puppets. :laugh: It's definitely a departure from their old stuff but there's some of AM in there and a bit of Alex Turner's solo stuff too, both of which I liked. There's quite a few good songs on there.

They must have meant it in a "the Last Shadow Puppets are Turner's inferior side-project" kinda way rather than a literal soundalike of their albums, I guess :laugh:

It’s a grower and superior to the made-for-radio AM so I’m pleasantly surprised. It’s a brave move but it’s paid off.
