One night a year, there will be a thread with no rules. We can all vent our anger at other forum members inside one single thread.
People are safe from the purge, and can not be discussed, unless they post inside the thread

Note: this isnt the purge thread, this is a discussion on whether it should happen so be civil here.. until the first annual purge.

I'm confused really why people have such strong sometimes scarily hostile feelings towards other on here (this isnt aimed at you withano btw I know thats not the reason for this thread) obviously at times in the past there has been justified reason to have bad feeling towards other members due to the many things that have happened on here over the years but thats not what im referring to, im referring to members that seem to have a hatred for each other due to differing opinions, liking different bb hms, even different singers and stuff like that, instead of getting angry or want to hurt them with words why not just take some time out, log off and chill then realise that disagreements with others on TiBB does not impact your life in any way, I certainly wouldnt get myself so worked up about a differing opinion that my first thought would be 'I want to go into an unmoderated free for all thread and rip them to shreds with insults' like I say I just dont get it, I dont get all the 'lets pretend to overly insult each other in every single forum post either yes one or two posts like that can be funny as an in joke but reading it all over the place daily is just a chore IMO anyway I find all the negativity and hate filled fueds pointless, lifes too short for all that crap.

Forced arguments normally are so it'd probably just fizzle out anyway.

I do quite like Morgan's suggestion of some kind of roast though. If it's done well it could be really funny. Say if everyone sends their comments about whoever's being roasted to the person hosting it, they can moderate them beforehand, and obviously whoever's being roasted will have volunteered, and if it's all done tongue in cheek. Sometimes it can be good to laugh at yourself and be made fun of, whoever's doing it would just need to make sure it wasn't cruel or nasty, but in jest sort of thing.

Tbh Livia, the majority of the forum is getting on just fine - you kinda just brought the entire forum into yours and your squads ‘discontent’ as if it was relevant to anybody wishing to take part in this? Which is a bit self-centric tbh.

It was optional when the idea was made, and nobody is planning on making it compulsary.

On a forum that is already in bits over ONE member ,I think the timing and subject is wrong ,but thats only my opinion ,but I seriously question why anyone would want to cause more ill feeling than there already is on here

I think those in favour of it would soon find it a lot less interesting than you're expecting :laugh: I mean, I want to drag Ammi as much as the next person, but surely after a couple of pages of -insert generic insult about someone's faves- wouldn't it just get kinda boring? Forced arguments normally are so it'd probably just fizzle out anyway.

I do quite like Morgan's suggestion of some kind of roast though. If it's done well it could be really funny. Say if everyone sends their comments about whoever's being roasted to the person hosting it, they can moderate them beforehand, and obviously whoever's being roasted will have volunteered, and if it's all done tongue in cheek. Sometimes it can be good to laugh at yourself and be made fun of, whoever's doing it would just need to make sure it wasn't cruel or nasty, but in jest sort of thing.

Ngl there's 2 'yes options', just one means they don't like to see it implemented but wouldn't participate. Both of them added together form the majority.

And I never said I was the Big I Am, or that I had loads of mates here, or that I was promoting the spread of hatred. No one here has. In fact we, or at least Withano, is trying to control the hatred that is bound to happen by limiting it to one place ever so often.
