The Tories really do need to fund the NHS as patients shouldn't be being put through horror scenarios like this.

That is an awful story mock, but I don't think you can soley blame government ,there are lots of wasted money in the NHS as there is on other things, there are always grey areas, money could be used better, and it's about time it was sorted out.It happens in all walks of life,so much waste that could do so much good.:wavey:

I think the main thing that needs to be fixed here that both the Tories and Labour have both slipped up on is that they should be making 100% sure that the high ups in the NHS are actually spending the money that's being allocated to them on more Hospital beds, updated Medical equipment, and anything else that I'm just not up on that's very important to running Hospitals.

The NHS could do with a massive restructuring, in all honesty. Priority should be given to frontline care, with fewer "pen pushers" and pointless middle management.

I also think people who use A and E as an out of hours GP service should be charged, many of the people who turn up at A and E are neither accident or emergency
I would be happy to be away from the snorers......
Not sure about being left alone with all that medical stuff though....which points me to think this is a load of pish.

Not the best scenario.
Put a window in and it would probably be similar to a private room, with storage.
Not quite the broom cupboard being described.
I can understand him being annoyed, however, as he was classed as ready to be discharged, he must have had the ability to walk to the toilet and in no danger of a cardiac arrest.
