Unpopular series that you like?

Are there any series that are seen as unpopular and awful/bad that you like? Explain WHY Xx

I actually quite like 15 tbh, maybe because it was my first one and I don't like it as much as I did but it's still a decent series imo

I don't like BB16 but it was the first Ch5 series to air on an Irish channel. Not every Irish television has Ch5 and the original on Ch4 was always much more common in Ireland. But the inclusion of BB16 on an Irish channel was kind of a big thing for me at the time since I hadn't really seen a BB series in full at that point since BB11 :skull: So because of this, BB16 has always had special nostalgia for me for being the first to air on an Irish channel. Along with this even though I understand people's grievances with it, I still found it to be a pretty engaging series the whole way through; albeit the reliance on twists.

Similarly, BB11 was the first series I saw proper since before that I would've been too young to fully grasp the enjoyment of the show. But when this series aired I was around 10 or 11 so it interested me much more than the preceding series (even though I did see most of BB7 when it aired)

CBB8 hatred I've always found pretty OTT. At its worst I think its just a weird series and disappointing evictions but it's harmless honestly. Sometimes light-heartedness is a good thing and in CBB8s case extroverted personalities like Sally, Pamela, Tara, Jedward, etc. lightened things. I think it helps as well that's a rather short CBB series because if this was a regular series I probably wouldn't like it. None of the cast particularly bothered me either aside from Bobby and Lucien. I wouldn't say I liked it since it's still nothing special but I don't think it deserves the scorn it gets most times it gets brought up.

10 was one of my favourite series. Loved it. Crap production for a channel 4 series but fantastic housemates.

12 no doubt, the tasks were good, the house dynamics were interesting, the right length, a well-deserved winner and normal nominations every week. The only negative thing is that the cast were mostly below their 30s, a little more diversity would have been good...

People go on about the production (which I understand) but producers literally left the housemates to carry the series and they delivered, which is what I love about the series.

Agreed. It was also the most diverse cast which is one thing that missing in CH5.

Would you agree that 8 was fantastic up until week 8 when Charley and Chanelle both leave and then it becomes unwatchable?

I enjoyed it up until the very last week (after Tracey and Kara Louise get evicted), Guru week was in particular entertaining with Carole and Gerry, and Ziggy and Tracey feuds

Same. i enjoyed the post Charley/Chanelle weeks just as much as the pre weeks. NGL it was actually pretty good watching them interact with each other.

I also loved the Guru week with Carole and Gerry's argument and Liam, Brian and Ziggy getting fed up with Carole taking over the shopping and the boys planning to overpower her yet failing miserably.

Yeah I don't think 8 is terrible until the final week. Like you have enough fluff immediately after Charley/Chanelle's suicide pact with the whole Halfway House twist, and then Week 11 is actually super solid on its own like everyone mentioned? And even after that, I did enjoy The Passion of Kara-Louise and Carole's reign of terror fully being realized. It's only the last week that was truly ****e but I can't really think of many series that have a good final week? Oddly enough 10 might be one of the only ones that had a strong finish but yeesh what a bad start.

I'd also go ahead and throw in 11 as a series that gets too much hate (although I think it definitely benefits from what came after it), and CBB14 doesn't really get talked about at all but I thought it was v solid?
