I typed in “Big Brother UK Forum” on Google Search and was given the choice between DS and TiBB. I lurked on both for quite a while before deciding on TiBB as the general environment/atmosphere in here is better than DS...

Same (during BB10 I think), I used to check for the eviction polls. I started reading the actual forum though during CBB15 and then joined at the beginning of BB16 because noone I knew still watched it :laugh: (and I hadn't watched a civilian series myself in years).

Via DS housemate poll thread (favorite or eviction), I think.

It listed thisisbigbrother.com as one of the sources for a poll (name of the site first and below the poll results).

So when I did one of the housemate favorite or eviction polls on DS, I came and check the first page and then eventually entered the forums, lurked as a guest for a while until finally joining.

Kinda odd how things work sometimes. I would've never thought to join a BB forum (let alone a UK one while being from the US and not even watching the BBUK version until years later :laugh:). Same thing with even getting into BBUS in the first place, randomly from a youtube clip of Dani & Amber going on a gameshow like Price is Right or something like that. I wasn't all that into RTV at the time either. ****, I don't even watch game shows either, so very random :joker:

I've been a BB fan since Season 1 and a fan of forums since 1998, I was googling something BB related in 2013 and the two magically came together in perfect harmony :hee:. Just think - if I'd thought to look for a BB forum earlier, you could have had me here from the off :omgno:... Although I was a very (VERY) different person as a teenager so there's a pretty good chance I would have been permanently banned within a couple of years.

Funnily enough, 2013 was the LAST season of Big Brother I properly watched and enjoyed, I only on-and-off watched 2014 and Helen Wood and co killed the entire civilian show for me. I watched the final season in 2018 'cos we knew it was the last, but I haven't seen anything of the 2015, 16 and 17 shows :umm2:.

So I came for BB but clearly I stayed for the highbrow company & scintillating conversation :joker:.

I'd only really seen a few CBB series and patches of normal BB before but when BB11 was supposed to be the last ever series I decided to watch it all and was surprised by how into it I got. I didn't really have anyone to discuss it with though so googled BB forums and ended up on DS. For some reason though they wouldn't let me sign up with a hotmail account so I gave up and tried the site second down the search results instead. If my email had been accepted I probably would have never found TiBB and never had my proudest achievement of becoming a forum moderator
