Season 1 is on Netflix now... and we can't stop watching at mine.

Who else is watching this excellent new show?

(Just started episode 8 out of 10)

I saw an advert for it - it looked very 'Stranger Things'. Is it?

More... Terra Nova meets The 100... meets The Iron Giant

But better than all three lol.

I just realized I didn't sell it very well with that statement :joker:

i come back to this first opinion, i have now seen episodes 1 to 5, and i quite like this series tbh :clap1:

The Robot :flutter: and the family robinson, the flashbacks each episode so far remind me a bit of Lost, the other series, but then in space/on a different planet, Parker Posey also plays a good role as a imposter doctor smith

last night i saw episode 6, Don finally knowing the truth about the real doctor smith and telling Judy this as well, imposter doctor smith setting angela up against the robot, so the robot had to be taken down by Will by walking over the side of a cliff, and the planet's truth revealed

anyone also watching this now

there is some really great filming, production work here

few flashbacks too more into John & Judy's bond of father and adopted daughter, how she sees him as one of her personal heroes

Will's bond with the robot being proven as very strong how he can see what he sees and also feel him

doctor smith, being June Harris who had Always been the black sheep of the Harris family, that is why she wanted a new identity, namely Doctor Zoe Smith

I got like 4 episodes into this years ago and then gave up ... did it ever get better? I'm inclined to give things second chances these days because I also quit "Snowpiercer" half way through season 1... was convinced by a friend recently to give it a second chance... enjoyed the latter half of season one and ****ing LOVED season 2 from start to finish (Sean Bean really does play a fantastic villain).

It's not the best TV Show ever but It's an easy watch, I like it anyway

To be fair I binge watched the second season of "Another Life" and it was absolute drivel... But I still was entertained :joker:

I can't exactly remember what episode I got to with this again now, I just remember that one of the girl's were trapped in Ice and the rest of them were trying to find a way of getting her out for most of the episode.

Like you I probably need to give it a second chance as I might not have been in the right mood for it.

Okay it was just the pilot I've watched.:joker:

Does it move at a faster pace as it goes along?

I might consider giving it a second chance soon then.
