one of the most popular first ladies of america is no longer among us, Barbara Bush, wife/first lady of former u.s president George H.W. Bush has sadly passed away at the age of 92

Just heard news the other day that she won't be accepting anymore medical treatment...very brave of her to do that.

Former President George H.W. Bush is in intensive care, a day after a funeral was held for his wife, Barbara Bush, CNN has learned.

Bush, 93, was admitted to the Houston Methodist Hospital Sunday morning after contracting an infection that spread to his blood, family spokesman Jim McGrath said in a statement Monday.

"He is responding to treatments and appears to be recovering. We will issue additional updates as events warrant," said McGrath.

Hopefully he recovers fine... it does sometimes happen that way though, with much older couples, when one one goes and the other goes right after... sometimes just the stress... this is just so difficult for the family to being going through issues with him right after having had the service for Mother Bush.
