It's not a bad idea.

The only thing that is concerning is that a rise in child killers might happen due to the paedophiles not wanting the child to grass them up to Law Enforcement and get the death penalty.

a death penalty for serial killers i can understand, but rapists no they deserve to rot in their cell till they die, not getting the easy way out with death penalty :(
