Bill Maher has always been very interesting in that he's varied on his viewpoints. He's left-leaning on a lot of issues, he dislikes things like religion and he's very pro-science, thinks more people should read, etc... but he is very pro-First Amendment as well... so when I heard he was interviewing Jordan Peterson, I thought this would be an interesting duo... he's had a lot of interesting people from both sides I think. He's also been critical of the media and the oversensitivity surrounding certain issues...

I quite like Peterson. I don't agree with him on absolutely everything, but he speaks a lot of sense.

I quite like Peterson. I don't agree with him on absolutely everything, but he speaks a lot of sense.

He's good at verbalizing some deeper truths of life that aren't the always the easiest or most prudent to describe... he does put a lot of it together in a well-thought out fashion. I think it's helped that he's done a lot of research...Maps of Meaning book for example.. it's available for free on his website for download (as a PDF download iirc). I've been meaning to read it as spirituality is an area of interest for me.

I have a close friend who is still going through therapy (and who I'm a part of their support structure) that is quite taken with him.
