Why celebrate this poor unfortunate's passing?
He was probably misunderstood/unloved/malnourished/abused/ignored as a child.
We should ALL try to understand and EMPATHISE with these unfortunates - after all, perpetrators are victims too in this cruel, ex-colonialist tewwible tewwible country.

No empathy from me Kirk as I guess there is none from you:laugh: the bleeding hearts will want him to have a decent funeral with flowers etc next ,whereas I'de chuck him on the nearest landfill site.

Just don't put him in the sea. I haven't eaten any fish since they put Ian Brady in there.

This discussion reminds me of this poem from John Donne (24 January 1572 - 31 March 1631)
No man is an island,
Entire of itself,
Every man is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thy friend's
Or of thine own were:
Any man's death diminishes me,
Because I am involved in mankind,
And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls;
It tolls for thee.
Wizard.

Used to live in Muswell Hill where Nielsen plied his grisly trade. My bus route went by the street he lived in, Cranley Gardens. Wonder how that house price was affected by its history.

in !974 I was in Muswell Hill. The incomparable Ray Davies and his brother Dave of The Kinks - one of my favourite groups - came from there.
I forgot that Nielson lived there.
