He achieved what was required of him although I don't think our survival was as comfortable as our final position suggests and we had some really poor results under Moyes. Unfortunately I don't trust our board to hire anyone much better though

There's a manager who already lives in London who needs employment, some French bloke.

We've been one of the countries biggest clubs since the 19th century and still are to this day, no club has spent more seasons in the English top league than Everton, we have a proper history.

Liverpool didn't become a top club until Shankley came along in the 1960s, and with a little help from The Beatles made you fashionable to outsiders.

You should have paid your rent, and then you'd be supporting a team with 5 big cups in the bag and going for a 6th.

There is always a joke within my family that whenever you talk football with a bloo, they always reel off the list of Everton firsts.

First club to....

It's even sweeter that it only took me about 4 everton posts to get it out of you though. Genius.

Do you still have the cuckoo clock in your trophy cabinet?

Sorry we've been away so long but we had to build the club back up after a pair of American carpetbaggers nearly financially destroyed the club, we still made a european final a couple of years ago, and a league cup final but what's 2 finals between friends?

And this is the 2nd thing Everton fans always go to. Ifithadnerbinfer...

Heysel was a tragic event for which the Liverpool supporters were primarily to blame. Nevermind the fact that the club had raised massive concerns with UEFA because it was already crumbling to pieces, and, with Liverpool fans being stabbed en masse the previous year by Roma fans, in Rome, the club objected but UEFA stood firm.

I'm trying to have a bit of friendly back and forth with you here dude, but maybe it's best if we leave this conversation where it is, before the bile really starts flowing from you.

You Liverpool fans are delusional, you still believe in your heads that you're the biggest club in the country, yet it's now gonna be 29 years since you last won the title, only 3 years less than when Everton last won it. You're mediocre, just like us.

I’m losing the will to live with Corrie first we have super sleuth Aiden tracking down Eva even though her sister Leanne and Peter thought she was in the USA, now we have two old dears appear out of nowhere with no explanation, at least we have a bit of a backstory with Flora

Football is always in flux. United went 26 years without winning the league and are now considered the biggest. I don't think we're the biggest because we've been run and owned by amateurs for large chunks of the last 2 decades, and biggest is a meaningless description.

Most successful is the only description I'm interested in, and only a fool could consider us that. Even though we've been bad, we've still made it to as many European finals as united did in all their years of dominance of the English league. I don't expect us to beat Madrid and no doubt I'll be pissed if we lose, but competing at the top table again is just better than not competing.

I'm enjoying football again, and Klopp is the perfect manager for us, just as I'm sure the guy who was sacked at Watford will be perfect manager for you.

Enjoy it dude.

he was manager at villarreal for quite a long time as well, where he also had successes

good luck Manuel
