[The government is to take back control of the East Coast rail franchise
after its private operators failed to make money.
Virgin Trains East Coast, a joint venture between Stagecoach (90%)
and Virgin (10%) won the right to operate the franchise between
London and Edinburgh for eight years in 2014.
Its the third time in less than a decade that a private operator
has failed to complete its full term in running services on the route.]

I only ask because my mum just flew to Budapest and has a 4 night stay in a hotel. The whole thing cost her about £150. It is £135 for me to go and see my mate in Devon on the train :umm2:
