I started the 10 days and 9 days discussion topics. Is it possible for me to start the advert topic? tradition and that like. Although personally I think they should be all kept seperate because it makes less complicated. Because someone trying to find the first mention of a certain day's ad would have to scroll through a 24 page topic to find out.

Wohoo, 7 days ad and house ad tomorrow canny' wait. (I'm not scottish, but find that saying fun to say). The '7' days advert aired this morning in the break of 'Freshly Squeezed' on Channel 4 at 7:20

I saw it again just before 8pm so promotion is really heavy this year which is GREAT.

An 'insider' claims on DS forums I think that the house advert won't air tomorrow night but I hope they are wrong.

It's hard to trust 'insiders' on the Internet so I don't know what to believe but surely if it follows last years pattern (which it has done so far with eye flashes a fortnight before and the countdown from 10 days) then we should get the house advert any time after 6pm this evening espically with house pictures now released.

It's weird to think this time last week we were worried about lack of news and then that afternoon we got launch night confirmed and it's been all go since then.

To be fair promo has been non stop since the first flash this time last week. Constant eye flashes and a countdown at LEAST every hour or so, it's hard to miss them.

The 'house ad' will be the icing on the cake though.

Perhaps they'll wait till after 9pm so they can say Wednesday @ 9pm on Channel 4?

They HAVE to release a new advert, an advancement on the eye flash. They need to play the theme tune and tell viewers the start date. We all know when it starts, but most average BB fans won't.

They need to show an advert with the date/ start time at the end!!!!!!!! I don't think we'll get a house ad. the pics have already been released, defeated the purpose of the hosue ad!

Well it's alot like what people have suggested, you see the eye, and it "unlocks" like those old chubb locks. And then you see the house as if it's reflected in those blocks.

I'm liking the music too, it has a very dark tension bed at the begining and end, very atmospheric.

I love the mirror eggs in the garden, if they are there, theres hardly any space!!!
Im not sure about the bedroom yet, there seems to be blue and green blocks aswell as the red walls and tiles. The oven isnt as bad as I thought it would be, at least its not like a big old fasioned one!! I suppose only the housemates will be able to notice it with the smell!

id hate to be like this but a few things on the house pics/ silver balls, they always do things dif in those ads, last year the pics didnt have any painted things on the walls and the chairs were different...so only a couple of stuff wilol be different, any the ad is the best yet!:bigsmile:

I am dissapointed atm with the bedroom but I am sure I'll love it come more press shots. BB6 & BB7s bedrooms were EXCELLENT and had duvets to die for.

But these seem a bit simple. I suppose with the oven it creates a hotness in the bedroom with all the red.

Anyone notice that the second one was slightly different to the first?
The first was ended with that tension music as it starts with, yet the second time it aired it never had that, and I think it was slightly shorter too.

Amazing ad though, and I love the "hot" colours in the bedroom.:thumbs2:
