First Evicted

Currently the betting odds that a female will be evicted first is 2/5, while the chances it will be a male is 7/4.

After 7 years, do you think it has become a BB tradition that the first evicted is always female?

Last year i remember reading on another forum that people were just voting to evict Bonnie over Glyn because a female has to go first. I think that's complete rubbish. Okay Bonnie was probably the least entertaining out of the two but people were just evicting her because of her sex!!??.

I understand that in BB1-2 it had to be a female because of the nomination results and in BB5 Kitten was out because of BB. But in all the other series a female was evicted over a male. I think the best example is BB4 when Anoushka was evicted in favor of 3 other males. IMO Anoushka was fair more entertaining then the other nominees put together yet she was first in and first out.

to be honest, I thought Bonnie was more entertaining than Glyn had been that first week. The reason she was evicted is cos, she didnt get her suitcase and if she had gotten it, she wouldn't have bene so borin

Bonnie was hilarious and would of been a super housemate.
Glyn should of went and then his ego wouldn't of got so big.

The bulk of voters are female and young therefore they look at the other young females and vote them out at the earliest opportunity, it's not a coincidence it's human nature lessening the male to female ratio so all the girlies have totty to look at

I loved Bonnie, and I thought it was completely unfair that she was evicted. BB should've done the Brotherhood task a couple of weeks in, the housemates had just arrived, they weren't even settled in properly and then that was thrown on them? That's the aim of the game I s'pose...

I didn't like Bonnie, so it didn't bother me that she was evicted, so my opinion obviously wasn't based on her sex when she was put up for nomination with Glyn. However I do think the whole voting based on sex thing is stupid - I guess people don't want to break the tradition, but IMO it shouldn't make a difference at all really.

Yeah, I'm guessing it will be a female evicted first, like every other series. I thought Glyn was a bit of a geek and maybe too quiet in the early weeks, but he really grew on me over time and became one of my favourite BB7 housemates so I'm glad he stayed. I normally tend to go for males anyway, and most of the male winners have been my favourites at some point during the show.
