In every series to date bullying has occoured in that house, why all of a sudden is it gonna stop. Its not entertaining, but very realistic. To me, without the race-row in CBB5, then the element of racism on our streets will be like watching 'This Is England' in slow-motion. Racism occours everywhere, CBB5 highlighted racism so, to me, if people were so affected then why do I hear the 'You Know What' word everywhere I go nowadays. Its simple, bullyin is horrable, but like racism it will never be stamped out. You can a group of friends, and within that group, a few people will take the mick out of just the one person. To us that would seem bullying, to the victim, a little fun.

Also what get me about CBB5 is it affected everyone as it was a person that some cultures look up to. But to me BB7 had racist bullying to Shahbaz. Yes, he was a total loon, but he was mistreated in sly ways, yet nothing was said. Why? Because it was sly and un-noticed. But in CBB5 everything was upfront and more noticeable. But if this was the case with Shahbaz, we wouldn't be here with BB8 as it stands now.

I hate bullying, racism, sexists, ageists and all other ways of being predudcie. But tell me, if people really cared why is bullying and racism still happening on our streets today? Because it'll never ever end and BB can try and cover it up all they want with this new bible, but when groups are formed, that'll start bullying. Look at Richard, Nikki & Aisleyne last year, Richard & Nikki completely ganged up on Aisleyne, but it wasn't a problem. So let bullying be, it also makes us the way we are today as a community.

Tell me your views... I wanna know if anyone agrees with me on this one...

i do agree with you and i have noticed that after all the news about what would happen to jade and co died down there was still a lot of bullying in the media its obvious that people are still going to bully and wont take any notice of a tv show

I agree with you totally, NightMare:thumbs:

Racism, Bullying and everything else does happen in society today and there is NO getting away from it.

I was watching Eastenders & Coronation Street recently and they were portraying people who live there as using a racist remark and bullying and violence and all the rest of it too.

All these soaps are during the watershed.

This means, that children watch this and know it occurs in real life.

The main point, which I have to stress quite strongly here. Is, (Political Correctness)

It's a terrible word in society, but it exists!!

We have NOW entered a world, very like the USA have experienced for a long time now. Everybody putting in a claim for this & for that.

These companies are really scared and it is making a lot of people more frightened than ever before and sadly many have to be Politically Correct and many can't agree, when they want to. They have to hide behind Political Correctness and let it rule their lives.

They have to say what the masses may believe, or rather, what the masses would say publicly, as they have to sound policially correct, so they will agree or hide away.

Nobody from Endemol, Channel 4 or any other company is going to be any less Politically Correct. It is NOT worth it.

Endemol will already have some other show in mind for the future and if they choose, they can scrap BB and concentrate on something else.

Big Brother is a moneyspinner for them and if BB8 works with the new rule book, then CBB6 and even BB9 is a possibility. It shall come down to ratings and nothing else.

They will have wiped their hands of CBB5 and the furore and BB8 is a test. "Testing the water". If the water is still dirty and unprofitable.

Bye, Bye time and a very Politically Correct statement will follow. Something that the masses will believe, I guess!!

I can't be fooled though. I just know:wink:

I don't think that TV has much influence over issues like bullying or racism. Look at all the times they have had issues of racism and bulying on soaps, has it really had that much of an affect on society?

The only way of solving real issues like this is to go out and sort them out hands on. TV is entertainment, that's it.

No, esactly. So no ones gonna concertrate on BB's new rule book as another attempt to stop racism and bullying. It happens in day to day life and is unavoidable.
