Good evening everyone, and welcome to the latest edition of ‘Who Wants to BB a Millionaire’. :wavey:
Here's a little reminder of the rules.
I will ask each question and will then wait for the contestant to post the answer. We would appreciate it if nobody other than the contestant posts onto the thread unless they have been asked to be an ‘Ask a Friend’. Any random posts will be immediately deleted.
Each Contestant has three lifelines:
1 ‘Ask a Friend’, where you can choose one person currently online to help you. Once they have been nominated the ‘friend’ should post what he or she thinks is the answer. Admin cannot be nominated as ‘Friends’.
2. ‘50:50’, where 2 wrong answers will be removed.
3. ‘Ask for a Clue’, where, as you cannot ask the audience, you can ask us for a clue.
We cannot tell what you are doing, but we ask you to behave fairly and not look all the answers up in the book or to cheat in any other way.
BigSister stepped unexpectedly into the chair last week and scored an impressive 250,000 points. Quite a figure to beat.
Today’s contestant is ROB. She needs no introduction and here's wishing her good luck and that her BB knowledge is as good as her story writing skills. :spin2:
I’ll give you a couple of minutes to read this and then we’ll start.
:flower:

Ok, chocks away Ginger!
Ok, note the deliberate mistake of posting the question twice, once with the answer still marked!!! - lol - you just can't get the staff these days can you. :joker:
As it's only question one and stupidly ridculously easy I'm just going to leave it, but sorry ROB it won't happen again on the later questions.

peachy
03-03-2002, 06:40 PM
It certainly was quite a night, by the end of it those of us who'd stayed with it for the entire four hour marathon were like damp rags. I felt as if I could hardly think or type any more and as for poor ROB and Lee, I dread to think how tired they must have felt. But it was worth it, and she did it, no thanks to me, who failed at the crucial question. Thank goodness, she took no notice of me! So well done ROB. Those of you who've done it know just how hard it is.
If I could just sing I'd be doing a Freddie Mercury:
"You are the champion, my friend" and we'd all be swaying with our cigarette lighters in our hands.
Feefs
03-03-2002, 07:02 PM
WOW - that's very impressive. I am yet again in great awe of you ROB. All that swotting has really paid off. You really have been a diligent student and an example to us all.
:hello::hello::hello::hello::hello:
BTW - does removing your avatar really prevent your OH from worrying? I take it you don't actually let him read what you've written.

Good grief feefs, he has no idea!! When he came up he just glanced at it, not long enough to sus out that I was ROB, and of course only saw the questions and my circumspect answers! The photo might have led to questions of an embarassing nature. he doesn't understand the www, thinks it's complex, and can just about manage an email with help. I'm keeping it that way!:thumbs:
