View Full Version : My new house

I got bored over the weekend so I created a new BB house. I thought I'd post it on here to get your opinions. The pictures of the house will be up tonight, but in the meantime here's the basic flooplan and details:

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/mynewfloorplan.gif

NOTES:

- The house can hold 16 housemates.
- The garden is the 'hub' of the house.
- There is a new room: the 'Treat Room'.
- There is a new addition to the garden which is not shown on the floorplan.
- There are only 3 single beds.
- The theme of the house is 'There is more than meets the eye'. The house seems very luxurious on the first glance, but Big Brother's tricks will tamper with things.

House pictures to follow

First up, the kitchen and dining area:

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/kitchendining3.jpg

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/kitchendining4.jpg

The kitchen and dining area is lemon yellow and orange.

The kitchen contains all the usual appliances and the door to the store room, and there is a large 16-seater dining table made out of clear plastic.

A large wall with a sunray mural dominates the room and holds the Diary Room door, the front door and a toilet.

There is a roof-mounted plasma screen near the door into the garden.

The living room:

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/livingroom1.jpg

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/livingroom2.jpg

The living room is red and orange and features a huge sofa which comfortably fits all the housemates. There is a 'butterfly'-shaped coffee table in the middle.

The living room looks comfortable. Lots of bright colours though.

The bedroom:

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/bedroom2.jpg

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/bedroom3.jpg

The bedroom is navy blue and white, and contains 3 single beds, 5 doubles and a triple (largely due to the small space).

All the drawer units are semitransparent, so nothing can be hidden.

There are two chaise-longues in the middle of the room.

Possibly my favourite feature of this room, though, is the giant WC sign on the wall. With this subtle reminder, dippy housemates need never forget where the toilet is again :)

WOW imatt, your stuff is amazing and your bedroom reminds me of willow pattern. Keep up the good work.

HA, you were up at 4 in the morning lol!

The bathroom:

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/bathroom2.jpg

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/bathroom3.jpg

The bathroom is green and tiled. One side of the wall (beside the shower) says 'Wash', and the other side (beside the towels) says 'Dry'.

The shower is a walk-in shower and contains three showerheads. It can fit more than one person at a time.

The toilet is beside a sink and two towel racks.

The bath has been replaced by a hot tub. A hot tub, I hear you say? That's very nice of Big Brother isn't it? Well, this is his first 'There's-more-than-meets-the-eye' tricks - the hot tub is infact a freezing cold tub.

If so I can't wait..

The diary room is here Corkie:

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/diaryroom.jpg

(Note: The colours match the eye, but this house doesn't have an eye so I used the colours from the one I made a while back)

There is a sunray mural on the wall, like the one in the kitchen.

WOW imatt, what a great unique idea with the eye an everything. I've always said you've got a real designer talent! The first thing I said when I joined was how great your eye was:thumbs:

The garden:

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/garden1.jpg

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/garden2.jpg

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/garden3.jpg

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/garden4.jpg

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/garden5.jpg

The garden is the hub of the house. Housemates cannot get into most, if not all of the rooms without first going through the garden.

The aforementioned new feature is the air hockey table. Very nice of Big Brother - or maybe not. Big Brother will only turn it on at the most inconvenient times, e.g. when its raining, or when housemates are taking part in tasks or nominations. An LCD screen on the wall indicates if it's on or off.

An uncomfortable-looking set of table and chairs and two loungers are near the pool.

The pool itself can fit all the housemates, but again there is more than meets the eye. The temperature of the pool will change every few days. Some days it may be freezing cold, some days it may be boiling hot.

Oh - and where could those steps lead?

...well those steps lead to the new treat room:

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/treatroom1.jpg

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/treatroom2.jpg

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/tibb/newhouse/treatroom3.jpg

The treat room is purple and yellow and contains a hot tub (which is truly hot), two beanbags and a cupboard filled with goodies (which Big Brother can refill from the back as he sees fit).

But again, not all is what it seems. Firstly, the door is inches bigger than a catflap, and only those who can fit through get in. Secondly, only a maximum of three housemates at a time are allowed inside, and it will only be open at times suited to Big Brother.

And that's it!

Wow ,
What a brilliant house , I Love the way the Pool is in the centre of the garden and the way in the Lounge one window faces inside and 1 faces outside.

The treat room is also a very very good idea and i think the house would be best if there wasnt a secret house attal or any secret rooms as the theme you have picked is great
:elephant:
Well Done ;)
