Man U with a sullen manager who is playing awful football and players who no one cares about
and Chelsea with an unhappy manager who isnt interested in this cup and a squad of yesterdays heroes
Both sets of fans have no songs to sing really and are unloved, most neutrals want both teams to lose
I hope to avoid ever minute of it

Two days of rugby league heaven.

United has far from one song. What a load of pish.
And the Old Trafford atmosphere is no worse than the other top 6. English home atmospheres on the whole is dead for the big English Clubs. The Away fans are still one of if not the loudest in the country though and any unbiased season ticket holder around the country will tell you the same.

I was listening to a podcast where these two American guys who were into English football were talking about why they liked the game. One of them supports Chelsea, the other Liverpool.
They mentioned one of the things they liked were how the songs and atmosphere at grounds are started naturally by crowds, unlike in the NFL where it is more orchestrated. (They said the atmosphere at college football in the US was good too).

I watched that game and Stockton Town played quite well I think, it was just that Thatcham's defence was on top form that stopped Stockton from scoring which imo they deserved to score and I think would've against a less defensive team.
