Do you think Big Brother 4 was underrated?

Would you class it as the "Sleepy/Quiet" series of Big Brother?

What do you think?

why did everyone hate it? ... Yer it was one of my least or should i say is my least favorite series...but i know i didnt like it, becuase the housemates wasnt right. and there wasnt enough in the house to get friction...If you know what i mean? ,.... :dazzler:

I don't think it was underrated because you compare it to other series then it really was poor, even Ray who was part of BB4 watched the tapes back and called it 'BB bore' so that kind of tells you everything.

It wasn't underated it was so boring and poor i can only remember 3 housemates which are Cameron, Jon Ticlke and Ray. The only memorys of BB4 i have are Jon Tickle going back in and the Africa swap.

It wasn't as bad as people made it look. It was a bit underated.

It was a though act to follow after BB3, and then BB5 came after it.

It wasn't that bad - It had some pretty good tasks, and twists.

It was totally rubbish i onlhy watched it for a month and thats because i forced myself to see if it would get better and it never did.I can speak for the rest of the series but from what i saw it was the worst, most pointless bb in history.

I don't think BB4 was that bad now that I've seen BB8. Plus, it was the first series I watched so I'll always sort of remember it in a way.

I think it was becuase of the back to absics theme and the lack of character interest

It was very poor in my opinion.BB8 would beat it anyday.

There was no "back to basics" theme. It was pretty much the same format as BB1, BB2 and BB3. It just had boring housemates.

And it will always been seen as the most boring Big Brother, but I actually think BB8 was worse.

Definitely. It was my first proper BB and I loved it. I watched every single highlight show, even when I was in hospital once, I still made the nurses get me a TV. :p I haven't felt like that about BB for a long time.

I've watched it before watching BB3 and I have to say....it's boring. All the housemates were so nice to each other, it was kinda cheesy sometimes.

It wasn't that bad. The housemates were actually pretty much nice people. I guess people prefer it when they have self-absorbed attention seekers, like they have had in the later seasons. I'd rather watch BB4 than BB7 onwards.

I quite liked it, BB7 and BB8 were worst

I think it was underated. It should certainly get more credit than BB8 which was just its carbon copy.

The reward room was good, the tasks were good. Camerons Africa swap was good. It also had the biggest build up. I think I can even remember 4 hr countdowns lol and the Iconic land marks ads must have cost thousands! Jon Tickle was goos. Dunno how he was evicted so early and how Cameron won over him :(

I wasn't good by any means but it was better than BB8 because it was shorter. And Ray and Tania were quite good!

it was interesting
it had the strangest half way HM ever
he had the switch between South Africa and BB uk's
it had Fred,Jon,Ray and Scott( a bit boring but nice)

the Faults it had was losing a great Hm early in that young Black girl at the beginging(sorry forgot her name)

Losing Fred and Jon early sucked too

plus too many Hms just slept and sat down all day

No it is not underrated at all, it really was that bad.:sleep::sleep: Every highlight show was just so depressing, because you knew by the coming up clips that **** all was going to happen yet again and it was like that every single night.:joker: Terrible series, it really was, but thankfully there has never been one worse since in almost ten years.:D

Seen a couple of YouTube videos of it and the housemates seemed a right jolly bunch, so possibly yes.

Apart from Jon Tickle:worship:, who really didn't deserve to be in a BB that unbelievably boring.

Yeah, me too .... ;)

The only fly in the ointment was the homophobic bible-bashing fraudulent Orcadian Stout ..... :bored:

BB4 was probably the last series in which HMs got really, really drunk - it was certainly the last one with a (temporary) "ever-open" bar ..... :laugh2:

I actually liked it. Federico, Tania, Ray, Sissy, Anouska and Scott were good housemates...

we just kept in Gos, Steph, Cameron and Nush in too long. They literally did nothing.

I think because it followed BB3, it looked poor in comparison.

I didn't think it was awful, but it did have a few too many tame housemates, who managed to stay longer than the louder/more excitable housemates.

I think the downfall of the show was they all just got along :joker:
Even the louder.more excitable housemates were only ever put up for eviction for that reason no one hated them.

It needed a Grace or Bea or a Victor or Science type of character to spice it up a bit.

If Anouska had stayed it would have been great and I think she could have won. She was fantastic on BBAU.

I doubt she would have won but she could have bought a bit of life to the house.
