i hope so
I would imagine that it's still 24/7 watching via the red button.. it is usually every year and on E4 through out the night and at certain times durng the day. I hope it's still via red button anyway .. would be a shame if not!

I assume on sky and virgin media the red button will remain (I dont think virgin have the power that they need to take it off of sky). However it is kinda worrying how last year during the interval between bb7 and cbb5 it said 'bigbro' or something but now (or at least last time I checked) it says 'CHANNEL 4 LONDON' or something :conf2:.

If I was Virgin I would have asked to have the red button taken off Sky as part of the deal.
There is no love lost between the to companies at the moment.

Red Moon, I don't see Channel 4 or Endemol agreeing to loose half it's audience for a sponsorship deal personally.

Yeah, thats just the test card they are using. The feed still stop's for the adverts, which proves it is the bb feed... Wait a week or so and the test card will be replaced by the eye...

How many people watch the live feed? It can't be that many.

They will go on the fact the majority of the UK have Sky and not Virgin... But anyway, Virgin will have no control over that. It's not like BB won't find another sponsor if Virgin start getting arsey..

I don't know after CBB5 a lot of comapines turned down the show point blank. It not so easy to find sponsor for the show as it was.

I dont think Virgin Media have the power to demand the red button only on their package and not Sky as it isnt up to them its up to Endemol and Channel 4. I hope the red button is still going to be on E4 for the live coverage as I like to watch the live feed sometimes when I am free and got nothing to do.
look like we are going too have the red button i just phone channel 4 and thay just told me yes we will have it so we see
I think its positive there will be loads of red button features for Virgin Media users.
Not too sure about sky users... most likely. I think sky will have some, but maybe not as many as virgin media users, as virgin media kinda does have the upper hand.

sky should have the red button:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:
As virgin media is a sponsor does this mean poor Sky viewers don't get the red button??
Virgin Media and Sky will probably have red button access. Freeviewers might (I hope so). That's if they're doing red button this year at all.

I just found out you can get the live feed 24/7 on Sky apparently. Here's what you do to set your Satellite to get the live feed all the time even when the red button isn't visible:
On your Sky Remote:
Press SERVICES
Choose SYSTEM SETUP
Then ADD CHANNELS
type in these details via your remote:
Frequency(GHz) 12.480
Polarization V
Symbol Rate(Mbaud) 27.5
FEC 2/3
Then select FIND CHANNELS
Two options will appear. Select 12005, press YELLOW button, then SELECT.
To watch this new channel,
select SERVICES, OTHER CHANNELS, then choose 12005

Virgin - NTL-Telewest
will also do the Red button Live 24/7,
that is because Big Brother
is now sponsored by Virgin Media.
The Red Button on Sky
is under Endemol control
not Virgin.

Just want to make it clear, watching the feed via 12005 will still broadcast adverts! Even now, adverts are being broadcast on the testcard simulcast to the E4 adverts...

It's a shame the only way to get an ad free live feed is to pay for it over the net.
Anyone know the cost this year?
