[A 30-year-old man has been ordered to move out of his parents' home by a court following a legal battle.
A judge urged Michael Rotondo to move out of his family home in Camillus, near Syracuse in New York, on his own accord.
However Mr Rotondo, who represented himself, argued he should be allowed to live with his parents for another six months.
Supreme Court justice Donald Greenwood branded Mr Rotondo's demand "outrageous" and issued an eviction order.]
Well done, the Supreme Court Judge Greenwood.

"Umm... no I am stay here."
"We're not asking; we're telling you. It's time for you to get your own place."
"Nah."
"GET OUT!!"
"Evict me lol"

What is it with these boys/men.
We had to buy a two bedroom bungalow to get rid of our pride and joy.
Told him there is no room for him.
Hopefully he is finding his independence too good to give up by the time we extend.:joker:

It's a crap economy for "young" people to move out, blahblah, yaddayadda ... but why would anyone want to live with people who've outright said they don't want you there anymore? And when it got to the point of them being in court, what did he expect to happen if he won? For his parents to say "well, we were wrong son, plop yourself back in front of Roblox" ?
On the face of it, an "oh crap, maybe I do need to move out by now, give me six months to find a job and a place" could be reasonable IF it was in response to the first time he was asked to leave, but I get the feeling he's been asked to leave for quite a while.

I couldn't wait to move out and was gone at 19 :joker:.
(Disclaimer: I was still a total freeloader as my dad paid my rent for 4 years while I was at Uni even though I could technically have afforded it myself :umm2: )

I must be alone in this but I could never throw a son of mine out on the streets. He wasn’t a criminal or anything. I would at least provide a roof. My sons would always have one as long as I did.

To be fair to them; in this case, it doesn't sound like he was too poor to move out or had nowhere to go... he clearly COULD afford his own place, he just didn't want to :joker:.

Nah - They've probably paid the bond for him and ten years rent in advance.

Maybe.
He looks like a character out of Lord of the Rings... but even in that series, children have jobs. It seems like he needed the push to pull his life together... he'll probably be really grateful for it later.

It's crazy though that his own parents have took him to court:shocked: , why has it come to that!??. Is he really that bad .
Plus he's obviously having problems if he's lost his job and he was going through a custody battle with his son . All they've told is he's lazy and won't pay rent , I think people including myself wonder what else is really going on ?? . I can understand the parents frustration if he's not contributing to the household but this all seems a bit overboard.
There's no mention of him being a psycho / violent or breaking any criminal law ? .
I still don't think this will make him move out straight away or get a job ,tough love doesn't always work. Even in an interview he still seemed reluctant to plan moving out .

Simply the 30 year refused to leave, at that time.
And the 2 Parents refused to talk to the media.
He has a son with a Ex wife
he is refused access
so because of that
he blames it all on his not seeing his son.
On GMBHD itv Live,(the 30 year old on a live link screen)
this was last weds:
they said as he refuses to get a job
he is not a good example for his son.

Yeah it all seems really strange  , you'd think he'd try his best especially for his son , but even after all this he's still saying he needs 6 months . I just wonder if it's more than laziness.
