i also think egypt could be a dark horse to watch out for
their goalkeeper is going to be the oldest player on a world cup, 44 years old :amazed:

Oh; maybe not then:joker:
what, that goalkeeper won like 35 trophies, all the africa cups they had won
egypt are record holder in the africa cup
so he is a good reliable goalkeeper, even for his age, goalkeepers can go on longer than other players

Not likely. Quarters at most.

He does indeed have an impressive record, Didier Drogba even complimented him by saying "he was the best opponent he has ever faced"
Im in, he looks like a goalie i would love to watch.

They can win it........but they won't?
QFs would be the furthest I can see us getting to

nah
yes, they can win it. They were unbeaten in qualifying. For the good of the game, i hope they don't though as there are what i perceive as better teams there like Belgium, France, Germany and Spain.
Babayaro.

England to crash out at the group stage? :fc:

It's a strange World Cup with some big teams not going to be in the tournament such as Italy and the Netherlands, and it is in Russia which means that there is a feel good factor of good triumphing over evil after the recent behaviour towards us from the Russian Government so I could see an extra incentive to do well.
However I can't help but see our players just not bothering to perform as well as they do for their clubs and we crash out at the group stage.

England to crash out at the group stage? :fc:
Why would you want that?
British Football needs to have some reputation at the knockouts to look credible to the rest of the Football world, sadly I can see England blowing it though.

Why not, the team is pretty decent.
