Referendum No.2
[The commission was set up two years ago to build a new economic case for independence following the Brexit vote.
Opposition parties say the SNP's pursuit of independence is doing nothing for Scotland's economy.]
Long wait for the SNP, then.

I think the last thing that Scotland and the UK need is to pull out of another Union tbh.

I could not agree more, Mock. A waste of time and money as far as I'm concerned.

Another referendum as pointless as Nicola Sturgeon

I think it's fair, the situation has changed since the last independence referendum and Scotland should have the right to decide if they want to remain as part of the UK when they didn't vote for Brexit.

I don't want independence or another referendum. It's not even 4 years since the last one, and the SNP are trying to change the result already. Dividing Britain is a bad idea.

I’m sure that if everyone got a hacksaw we could all saw Scotland off and let it float off and crash into Greenland and then be governed by them.Just to piss Sturgeon off.
Raids would obviously have to be done on the Iron Brew factory first to get enough supplies to get us through.

Scotland actually used to be next to Greenland many millions of years ago, before the North Atlantic Ocean formed.

I think there should only be another independence referendum if it’s clear the majority of Scots want independence, like every major poll is 56% or over or something
If that were the case there definitely should be one in order to fulfil the wish of the people, but it isn’t so at this moment In time it’s a waste of money and would probabaly prevent SNP being elected again

I personally believe that independence would be the best thing for Scotland however I do agree with this; there is no point in the time / expense of another referendum unless there is a very clear indication that there has been a major shift in public opinion.

Well that’s what happens in a once in a life time vote which it was billed as, things change, would be happy for them to get another vote and leave tbh

Circumstances change.
Scottish people were promised that the UK would not leave the EU.
Scottish people then voted landslide to remain
Ergo, Scottish people have been betrayed and deserve a second independence referendum in which I would entice them to vote to leave.

Sure Dezzy
but some in Scotland did for Brexit
Of course not enough.
Brexit was WON by one million more Votes
so its going to have to go through.
These Fecking Remoaners
(like BBC1HD Q.T. MP ANNA S., last night)
will not stop it.
I admit PM MAY is not up to the level
never mind her small majority
She must obey the VOTERS that WON>

I think the people of the UK are getting a bit tired by the constant elections and referendums we've been subjected to for the last few years

It’s not really an ‘Independence’ referendum anyway. The SNP want to break away from the UK only to rejoin the EU and be dictated to by Juncker and pay him €Billions.
