How Nice

[The maker of Sesame Street has taken legal action over a film it says abuses its puppets' reputations, calling it "explicit, profane and misogynistic".
Sesame Workshop has taken issue with the Melissa McCarthy film The Happytime Murders, in which she teams up with a puppet partner to investigate grisly deaths of other puppets.]

Sesame Street don’t own the right to all puppets and their personas :suspect: unless I’ve missed the point.

Oh
and the tagline "No Sesame. All Street."

Fair enough, that needs seeing to.

Not that I care, whatever this is > sesame street

Also, it's a bit rich considering the director of this film is Jim Henson's son and the head of The Jim Henson Company

The US Supreme Court ruled that parodies are protected by the US constitution.

This looks like complete, unfunny crap, and pretty much every frame of the trailer made me cringe, and not in a good way.

Lostie!

I was really looking forward to this when I first heard about it, before that awful trailer.

"Tommy, you should never break a promise. You don't wanna be a bad apple, do you? Come on. You know Smile Time isn't free! Now, get over here and touch it!"

... Actually how did they get away with that episode :joker:
