How are you on first impressions?

How do you think you will do on first impressions when BB8 starts? are you the sort of person who ends up being right about a housemate or do you usually judge them pretty badly?

i'd say 50/50 but its also caz some hms prefer to stay closed up until later on e.g. glyn .

I am generally good on susssing the housemates. But I try and keep an open mind until I get to know the charaters more

I think you can tell a fair bit from first impressions if the people in question act like an idiot...lol but then there is room for them to change over time and grow on you.

I usually like all of them to start with and then a few days in I usually decide which housemates I like/don't like.

I don't really like many of the housemates when it starts, but I grow to like more throughout.

I like them at the start, I pick my favourite and normally I'm not so wrong, for BB5 it was Nadia, BB6 it was Makosi and BB7 it was Imogen !

I usually find it quite easy to see who the top 4/5 might be and sometimes a likely winner. But of course first impressions are still very deceptive. Anouska springs to mind ,she blew it big time in the first impression stakes.lol :spin2:

I'm usually very good on judging the housemates on first impressions. I know who i will like and who i wont like and it turns out to be correct.

Im usually very good at predicting which housemates i dont like and which housemates i like but sometimes its hard as they lie in their audiition tapes to make them sound better

I'm rubbish when it comes to first impressions, lol - however, what I do do is pick some I like and then I tend to have a soft spot for them and defend them, which can either be a good or a bad thing. But as for impressions, they build up and gradually change as the series goes on for certain HMs, as their true colours begin to show in some cases.

I give everyone a chance on launch night. I like everyone.
Then as the show goes on, I start to like certain ones more, and dislike certain ones more

Well, Last year i disliked Pete from the beginning and did to the end.
But i hate nikki at the start but then loved her.

I can usually tell right away who I like and don't like and it usually stays that way all the way to the end.

I tend to try and not make instant decisions about HMs - I usually have hunches about them but try to give them all a chance to settle into house life before deciding if I like them or not

But you probably get a fair idea of who is likely to to do well. Some HM's do create a naturally good first impression or give off good Karma lol:wink:

Good question. I usually stick by my first impressions. Loved Derek from the moment he went in the house. When I saw Richard, I knew that there was something genuine about him that I really liked. All the housemates I despised all remained despised.

I liked Richard, i was surprised he was up for eviction so many times.

I think the public liked Richard and respected him more for surviving all those evictions

I'm pretty good on first impressions, I usually end up liking and disliking the same people pretty much the whole way through but of course there are a few exceptions to it as some of the housemates put on such an act in their auditions to try and come across as a big character to get into the house and they end up being very different to that almost straight away.

My friends favourite was Shahbaz!! And she hated Pete! Now it's the other way round!!!
