The most scandalous thing was when one of the police officers at our high school was arrested for having child porn on his office computer. The cheerleaders used to "hide away" in his little office/nook in-between periods and he'd give them all passes back to class. Ok my memory is so bad I can hardly remember anything.. but I finally remembered a big scandal!

In middle school 8th grade (Year 8 I guess for the UK, or one year before high school) this math teacher I had was a major perv / potential pedophile and he got reported tons of times for sexual harassment - one of the worst things I remember clearly was if a girl was wearing a short skirt he would take them outside of the classroom and make them bend over in front of him to "check if it's too short" :skull:

This COULD'VE just been false allegations BUT a few different girls confirmed this so idk plus he did just seem creepy. The guy ended up getting fired before the year was over so there must've been something to the story (and not sure if anything else happened with him).

Side note, that class was always complete chaos... no one ever took him seriously, you'd have people literally walking around the class while he was teaching up at the board. :joker: A large percentage of the class just on their phones or chatting most of the time, including myself. The school principal had to come in to calm down the class so many times but at some point the teacher stopped even trying and let it go without calling for assistance. There was always drama going on for every class that had him for math, not just mine, I think my class was actually a bit mild compared to others from what I had heard.

It's usually decided on the Head teachers discretion. Our year was generally badly behaved so they banned Study leave and excluded the worst offenders (but told them it was Study leave - leaving them all shocked when they had exclusion on their education records at college :laugh:).

Elementary School - No known scandals that I remember.

My first High school, a regular public school - there was a mysterious package found inside the school and someone had called the school saying that there was a bomb inside. The school was criticized for not going to lockdown, neglecting students' safety. That same year, the physics teacher/track coach was dating a Student. However, the school permitted it since she was 18. They've been married for years now and still are married. However, the Athletic Director was fired the next year for having sex with a minor, after I had transferred. In 2010, the year after I transferred, the music/drama teacher went mental and held the students hostage and said "you are my children!" or something along those lines.

My boarding school - The main "scandal" was then I posted about the horrific conditions of the school online. Up to three bloggers and journalists contacted me for news interviews. Many students contacted me over Facebook, seeking more information and many of them decided not to go to the school. The school suspected I was doing this, but I reminded them that it's still protected under free press. I even discussed some of the school gang violence. Also, a counselor tried to deny me rights to miss school to visit my grandmother who was in the hospital, where she eventually died. He tried to say bereavement was not excusable for missing school. He even tried to contact the hospital to ask for confirmation and reason for being in the hospital, which is illegal. A security officer there also made a distasteful joke about a student who had died the year before. Also, while waiting for a bus, as I was attending a Pre-College class, a gunman came by and waved a gun, but did not fire it. The other students attempted to prevent me from entering inside. I mentioned that in the police report and got bitched at for that. Also, one of the administrators tried to prevent my transgender roommate from wearing a dress to an assembly. She also got a lot of harassment from staff who also refused to call her the name she wished to be called.

Omg somebody else reminded me of this but somebody made a burn book on that piczo website maker and it was literally just slagging everyone off and there was a chat box on the side and everyone would comment like 'he's nice fxck off' and mine just said basically 'Amy _____ is well fat she looks like bean bag in her coat' and I cried over it :laugh:

No her room got raided because of the smell so we all found out

k so it was sports day one year, i was about 12 or summin, and for our school parents and family are allowed to come to sports day to cheer their kids on n stuff

well one of my friends' younger sister came, sis was only a toddler, she was running about all over the school yard just like all the other kids.

when one of the weird kids went over to ha at the tree area, he start picking her up and touching her and doin loads of weird **** with ha, mind you, she didn't even know who he was.

the girls older brother was heading over to the trees to get ha, when he saw the weirdo kid feel her bottom, he went over to get her and confronted him, the kid got real offended and went over to his mum to tell ha that he called him a weirdo.

then the weirdo's mum went ova to said kid, got up all in his face and screamed at him for "bullying her son"

when the kids mum saw ha son being screamed at, she ran over to the weirdo's mum and pushed her away from her son, they started throwing hands at each other and the weirdo's mum busted ha nose,

kids were SCREAMING crying, teachers were shocked, ah was gettin my jush and winning MULTIPLE gold medals. twas a productive day.

Luckily I left by then but a new head master took over for the school few years after I left and this went on for 4 years a man called mr Hughes took over and one school year mr Hughes didn’t turn up well I just think he came once in this school year apparently he was ill turns out he done a runner to the states and the school found out he wasn’t the real mr Hughes
