I think I have roughly £50 in cash at home, it's just so much easier these days paying everything by card but then I do get caught out at times if I want to buy little things like a bottle of water or that and then there's this I may actually start stashing more cash in my safe too now

I panic-cashlined and took out £200 but then my card worked for pay-at-the-pump petrol. What's that all about :suspect:.

I think pay at pump is different. When I use that it only takes £1 off my card there and then nd the rest about 3 days later.

Yeah mine does this, takes £1 then the rest ages after, apart from asda who are now charging £99 then returning it :fist:

contactless is till working too I believe. It's to do with those type of transactions being underwritten by the banks without pre authorisation

It took me five times to get my card to go through at ASDA's self checkout yesterday
