[The robbers used hammers to smash the windows of his black Range Rover while he was still inside - with witnesses claiming the 42-year-old was shaken after the incident.]

[No one was injured in the attack, which reportedly happened on Monday afternoon.
The police, who would not comment on the identity of those involved, told Sky News: "The victim was stationary in his car when two males on a moped smashed the car windows with a hammer before stealing property."
McIntyre's publicist Gary Farrow told The Sun: "Michael was involved in an incident involving armed robbers.
"He is absolutely fine and helping police with their enquiries."]

It's awful really as his child was there as well, but I bet he will make some jokes out of it when he gets over the initial shock.

 I was shocked to hear and yeah especially when he was in the car with his son . Thankfully they're both ok . Hopefully they catch the thugs !! .

And I was thinking same thing with him being a comedian it probably has given him comedy material,it's kind of like a coping mechanism when something so terrible happens.

He would have had more sympathy from me if he weren't an egotistical prick

Even if you don't like him that's a unnecessary comment and cruel considering his innocent child was there caught in the middle of the terrible ordeal :nono:.

His Rolex Watch
he handed over to the Criminal is said to be worth £15,000
or €17,097.53

Terrible thing for them to do, but how idiotic to leave valuables inside your car? Is he stupid?

They smashed his window while him & his son were in the car  I doubt he was being flash just because he has an expensive watch . Maybe that was the only valuable thing he had on him to give these maniacs so they'd leave him and his son alone , horrible crime .

I'd be happy for a judge to make an example of them, and send a message to criminals by locking them up for a minimum 20 years.

It's more likely to be 18 months

Maybe that was the only valuable thing he had on him to give these maniacs so they'd leave him and his son alone , horrible crime .I never suggested he was being flash.

I assumed he'd left the watch in the car and they'd smashed the window to get it (hence it being daft to leave valuables in the car) until I saw he was sat in the vehicle when they robbed him.

I'm The Sun advertisting a £15k raffle on the same front page as a story about a guy getting his £15k watch stolen

But even if McIntyre was on his own it's still a horrible thing to happen.
But definitely makes it worse that his son was there , anyway I like McIntyre but even if it happened to someone I dislike I'd still find the whole thing terrible :nono: .

Criminals are running the streets in every city , don't bother calling the police unless you're famous because they ain't coming ! Believe i know.
