Looking at team Belgium it´s hard to not see them win this group easily. England will give them a good opponent in themselves, but i think they will win the match in the end and thus finish with 3 wins after winning easily against both Tunisia and massacring Panama.

England might struggle against Tunisia at first and the first half has a good chance to end in 0-0, but i think they´ll sack up and find their game enough to get that one goal to win the match. If Tunisia gets the lead early, England will panic and be in deep trouble. I do not think they´ll have a problem against Panama though. Well in theory, but stranger things have happened.

Tunisia will try to bully and annoy Belgium and England, but they´ll only succeed in one of them. In the end Tunisia will get two losses and no points. But they´ll get an easy win against Panama.

Panama will have a tough job ahead of them and i do not see them getting anything out of this tournament in fact i think they would be lucky to even get 1 goal in the end. 3 matches, 3 losses, 0 points and quite a bit of goals scored in their net. Take it as an experience.

Not sure whether to be reassured by their lack of desire going forward... both could be harder to break down than we thought.

every right to be scared of the ones who had qualified instead of the mighty USA

Belgium needs to focus a bit more, on the finishing touch of their shots at goal

i'm so not a fan of their coach Martinez, Wilmots was so much better

Many teams are slow to start in the first round. A draw between Belgium and Panama is a bad result for england because it will make them both focus more on their game against england. A draw and Panama have a chance to qualify

Nicky91
18-06-2018, 04:01 PM
yes keep it at a draw guys, and then be more focused in the next 2 matches

Don't listen to the pundits, I feel that Southgate seems to have the right idea of aiming for the Quarter-Finals which is possible for England, and personally would be something that I'd be happy with.

Tbf without Loftus-Cheek we wouldn't have had the corner which Kane scored off.

i think if the belgians have analyzed their game against england, they should put the pressure on Tunisia from the start

Give me Japan/Senegal and then Mexico/Switzerland to reach the Semi Final. That will do Winning Culture just fine.

Decisions, Decisions

With us already through to the knockout stages, how does Gareth go about the final group game?

Does he protect his star players and give other members of the squad some game time? or does he ride the momentum wave that we're currently on, and stick with his best team.

England was very dominating against Panama. Good job. The goals in themselves were also splendid. They just need to remember that it was only Panama that they faced and focus on Belgium next, which is their first true test.

But they still are lucky to have such a world class player in Kane.

Have to check the Belgium vs Tunisia highlights to comment on that.
