February before last I slipped over walking home from the pub (thanks to Storm Doris :laugh2:) down this poorly lit path and broke my foot in a few places, cracked my ankle, tore some ligaments and tendons, ruined basically. Could not get up off the floor and my Dad who was with me couldn't pick me up, I'm like 6ft 7+ and a big lad.

So anyway this young lad came out of nowhere, from his mates or something, helped my Dad get me up and helped basically carry me to my house, him under one arm and my Dad the other side, took about 45 minutes even though my house was only down the street, was horrible.

Bought him a box of lager for his kindness because he wouldn't accept anything else.

About 18 years ago I went into the bank and lifted most of mine and my husbands wages out (to put in a savings account in another bank this was way before online banking) I sat on the bench outside the bank and ending up leaving my purse with all the cash in it on the bench, never noticed til got to the other bank then panicked like mad, turned out a girl had sat down after me found the purse and took it straight to the police station.

My youngest sister and I were taking the kids to a big fete, anyhow, as we were walking nearby, she decided to eat some cinder toffee and got a piece lodged, me whacking her on the back, her going blue in the face and a passer by grabs her and does the Heimlich.
He saved her life and just carried on walking.

Me and my friend had a dance performance and were practicing our routine in the town centre and random people came up to us and started giving us money

When I was a broke student I went to the theatre with a pocket full of change, ready to sit up in the Gods... and when I got to the box office, the woman handed me a ticket and said that the person couldn't make it and wanted it to give to the next person on their own and without a ticket. I saw the play from a really good seat in the dress circle and still had my money. It was such a lovely gesture, if I can't get to something I try to leave my ticket at the box office for someone else.

Someone gave me their day saver

I do that constantly, and even had one old woman cry when I did so  If I am not going to use it anymore, why not save someone else some bloody money? The cost of busfares these days is ridiculous (possibly because of people sharing tickets, before someone says that :D )
