What extra/after-school activities did you take part in?

I’m not sure if the UK has this though...

In Primary School, I kept on swapping between the school band, Media club and Table Tennis though none really interested me and since Primary 5 (Year 5) I was like nevermind, it wasn’t compulsory anyways...

In Secondary School, since they were so strict and every student must have one, I joined the Drama and Debate club, I stuck with them for all my four years and have made lots of positive memories from it... :)

well basically in my last school years, i had to study also with newer classmates, many who were much older than i was, they usually made fun of me, or laughing at me


but it was more to learn about plants, animals, wildlife etc

my partner was a girl, and she only was looking at her Phone, but i did most of the work for her, so she wouldn't get into trouble :love:

nah, if it’s not sports, then it’s [insert whatever synonym for gay you like] is the attitude most people at our school had, obviously not me though because i am THE most accepting person there is! :hee:

Cooking class was part of the main curriculum day and I made my partner do everything. She loved cooking so she was cool with it...

Though if you just leave me alone in a solo cooking test, shocked I never burnt down our secondary schools’s kitchen in my four years...

I played violin from year 5-8, I was on the netball team (one of two boys lol), I tried rowing for a few months and I did the duke of Edinburgh in sixth form if that counts

Oh I was also in the drama club as well as the cooking club with all the girlies. Wasn't part of the school but I also did swimming lessons every week from year 3 - 6

Netball and rounders practice were pretty much the only things I did after school, only things I actually liked at school to be honest.

Band in like 4th-6th grade of elementary school (although that was mostly during in-school)

Baseball team every year of high school (played in a baseball recreation league too since like 3rd grade until I graduated high school & also basketball for a few years)

I did Karate for a bit as a kid, wasn't really for me.

Then when I got older I did some rugby and basketball.

I did this cooking competition in year 8 in which I placed third (but only the top 2 went onto a county-wide competition :( )... knew I used too much salt :bored:

Otherwise our school had house competitions and I remember taking part in Chess and a Quiz team. Wasn't amazing at either, though. In terms of sports it was mostly just swimming clubs... we had to do house football, house rugby, house athletics, etc, but I was tragic at all of them :laugh:

Not-school related, I did karate.

I really wish I'd learned a musical instrument.
